Just popped in to say, "Hi!" I'm an *ahem* middle-aged native Texan, got a Norwegian hubby and the world's greatest son (he's 10, a "Texwegian" 
). Been back in Texas for a couple of years now, after several years in exile in Arizona and Colorado (and even a few months in London). There's no place like home!
I've been a born-again Christian for 33 years (since I was VERY young! ), and really enjoy interacting with Christians of all stripes. I was raised a Southern Baptist, walked away from that for awhile, and am now a Baptist again, though I don't think we're the only ones going to Heaven. I've struggled with grace vs. legalism alot in the last several years, and thankfully God has brought a wonderful pastor into my life (as well as some other good folks like Rich Mullins and Brennan Manning) to teach me about the freedom of grace, thus my username. (And somebody else already got my "customary" Tolkien-inspired username -- Elfie -- but that's okay, I can share.)
I sing on the Praise Team at church, and have had many different ministry roles in the past, mostly with music and with children. I'm a scrapbooker, so I may spend more time on that than on the boards here, but I look forward to hanging out here some, too!
