In your opinion, is it OK to download a song if you already own the CD that it's on?

I own the CD but I want to put the music on my xanga. The only way to do that is the have the music on the computer to start with, and I can't figure out any way to get music from my CD onto the computer, short of playing it in a CD player and recording it with a microphone, which I think will make it have a really bad sound.wgjones3 said:Why would you need to download it if you already have the CD? footnote: don't rip other people's cds, only your own. whether we agree with the copyright laws or not, romans 13:1 - 7 still applies.
