The last time was when I was in band playing flute in 1983.

Of course there was that night of Karioke (spelling lost on me at the moment... ) When I turned 25, at some bar, with my friend who is only 2 minutes apart from me in age. I think we sang "Me and Bobby McGee"...

does that count?

I'm giving up clutter....clutter busting one part of my home each day, and meditating what is cluttering up my spirit each day (and considering what might change that).

Did you give up anything for lent? (whomever answers next ).

Instead of giving up something, I'm starting a daily meditative practice. I've tried before but it's gotten lost after 3 or 4 days. This time I will be more disciplined.

Is the Lord speaking to you about having too many unnecessary things? (I've been getting rid of stuff right and left - and I'm not even a clutter bug! I agree with faithmom, I'm considering the spiritual significance of downsizing!)

Not at this time, but He has in the past because I have gotten rid of a lot of things that I felt was not necessary.
