They said on the news the other day this is the warmest Winter on record for my area. This time last year we were knee deap in snow with another 6 months of it to look forward to. It's hardly snowed at all this year.

Not anxious. I'm enjoying the time, unrestricted by schedules, with my children. They'll go back soon enough. The Winter break (do you remember when it used to be called Christmas break?) has been pretty nice so far.

Do you like to watch movies with your kids?

Oh, that sounds like fun. We haven't actually gone to the movies in what seems like forever. Usually costs us a bundle. We watched Zathura last night on DVD though.

My littlest daughter who's 8 has an affinity for cooking. And is always after me to let her help. And I like to do that with her. The other kids though...the groans and eye rolls are enough for me not to really enjoy their help too much.

Does your church do anything special on New Years Eve?

At my current church that would be completely acceptable. But, I wouldn't wear jeans in church unless I had a brain injury that changed my whole personality. I was raised in church. And we were taught that you put your best before the Lord out of reverance and respect. That what you wore should denote modesty and godliness. That Sunday service was special, set apart from the rest of your week. That's by the way why I read the KJV Bible instead of the ones that have been translated into a more modern way of speaking. Reverence. Doesn't mean I look down my nose at people who don't believe as I do. I mean if you came for a visit and it was a Sunday and you dind't have anything but jeans, I would not even wrinkle my nose at what you had to wear. I would just take you with me and be glad you agreed to go. My beliefs are my own. The only people who have to live by my rules are living under my roof. And when they're all grown up and moved out, they can do what they like. Same as everyone else on the planet has a right to.

Sorry that was wordy. But, I was a fundamentalist until about five years ago. So, I actually had an opinion.

Do you like to go out to breakfast?

at your answer for being yourself but respecting others as Im one who was raised in Church also but went in Jeans as that's all we had back in those days...
I guess Im comfortable in that way of dress and look at it as street people will be more comfortable comming in as well. If a street person isnt comfortable comming into a Church then I can't go into that Church either.
At the same time I noticed that my mother's older she is really into dress slacks now and these brand name clothing

Now the question...
Id love to go for breakfast if someone would take me haha...
Actually maybe I will one day...we usually do a supper thing once a month instead.

Do you do a date night with each family member...taking turns...to get to know each other better (ie mom and son night, father son night, mom daughter night, father daughter night)?
