I agree, and I haven't even tried it yet.

My brother and I want X-box live for our games, but our father thinks now is not the time right now. Go figure.

I'd love to play my DDR on X-box live. That would be sweet.

I hate to say it but X-Box live is too expensive because you have to pay a monthly fee (= can't afford it) but with playstation online all you have is a 1 time setup fee.

Yea, but Sony's online system sucks.

It's well worth the $8 a month, there are so many amazing things you get with XBL that no other console online service provides.

In the UK you only have to pay for XBL once a year (£40)
Although you may have to pay for downloadable content but that only on about 2 games(PGR2 and Somthing else I think?)

You can pay once a year anywhere, not just the UK.

A few games have Downloadable content you have to pay for:

Links 2004
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow
PGR2
Mechassault

Are just a few I can name off of my head. Fourtunitly premium content is (and should stay) the minority.

Counter-Strike and DDR Ultra Mix are also content downloaders! my sister (puppyforchrist)'s friend mentioned something about there being a website that you can go to, hook up your xbox to your computer modem, and get free xbox live from it! i doubt its legal, but it was worth mentioning

whats wrong with not being able to afford it!? i cant, im still a student and i dont have a job, only a small allowance, so i couldnt pay that, mayb that person has the same problem!
