  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

anyone seen the anime "X"? Its just...awesome. Although i think the manga would be better (never seen it so i dont know) because the anime tried to cram the whole story into 2 hours. Oh well. Peace
You mean the "movie" X. The TV series is anime too. From what I have seen and heard of the TV series, it is MUCH better than the movie. Unlike the movie, the TV series takes its time with plot and character development. I also heard that the TV series has a much better ending than the movie.

Yes, but it shows just how much he loved the guy, even after all he did. What I didn't like was how everything lead up to that moment, the one battle to determine everything, and it ended in one blow and that was that. They should've had it go for at least a few minutes.

can you get som photos of it.

ps dont get photos of it if it is ratid X lol.

On some forum sites, you'd probably have gotten flamed for necroposting on this topic, seeing as how the last post before yours was in November. However, flaming isn't allowed on these forums (and isn't generally accepted on other forums either, but people are just quicker to jump the gun on these sorts of things), so what I'm saying really doesn't mean a thing.

Anyway, X is one of a few rare movies and anime series that doesn't get a lot of exposure in America despite the fact that several other works by CLAMP have become very popular here (such as Chobits, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Magic Knight Rayearth, to name a few). The movie was rated R, for one scene of nudity at the beginning and a massive amount of blood and violence. The series is far tamer, but still recommended for 17+ due to the psychological and still violent content. It is in no way hentai or X rated, however. I would still strongly recommend discretion on this series, since it isn't exactly meant for someone your age.

The picture on the far left of my sig banner is from X/1999 (the proper title of the movie, as opposed to X TV. The manga is also called X/1999, but the franchise in and of itself is just 'X'). You might have seen pictures around the Internet that look like that before, as I seem to remember it is fairly common to see around some anime sites even if it isn't mentioned by name. I have included five pics from the series that I was able to find on the Anime Image Archive at Northarc.com.

Well, yeah, I have seen the manga...I mentioned it in the post I made, after all.

No, what you did wouldn't get you reported, but what I was talking about was necroposting, which is where someone posts on a thread for a subject but that the thread hasn't been used in a long time, so in effect, bringing up an old conversation that most people probably don't care much about anymore. Kind of like the expression, 'beating a dead horse'. On a lot of forum sites, people really don't like to see that happening, since if it didn't stick around with regular posting, there's most likely a good reason why and it shouldn't be brought up again. It's a little different if the thread starter revives his/her own thread, because that sometimes does happen and it's usually because they have something relevant to say again or something important to announce...although if that's the case most forum users would prefer that they just start a new thread. Generally, if the thread hasn't been used in two weeks in a really popular section (like the Christian Teens section here) or something like three weeks to a month on a less popular section (like Anime and Manga), any new posts are considered necroposting.
