written in the back of my bible

I wrote this back in May this year on the back pages of my bible. Its a typical thing I do you see - write at random times to really express what I really feel through writing it down, and its a way I know that God can get things across to me (believe me, its pretty hard sometimes! hehe)

Anyway... I was going through a VERY VERY bad patch... my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, my teacher training mentor at school died suddenly with secondary liver cancer and I was very stressed with assessments and teacher training stuff all over the place - and what I wrote contributed towards getting me through it... I'm posting it now in the hope that someone out there might be needing these words that I was given in my time of need too.........................

"I find it an amazing priveledge to take part in God's plan. Not just of my own choosing but because of His grace. Althought things may be hard, hurtful, upsetting our Lord is HERE with us healing us and providing us with all we need to live and thank and praise the name of Jesus!

Through all situations I thank God! I thank Him for the actual circumstances - becuase without them how are we ever going to see the Lord's work in our lives?

And its not what God can do for us but what we can do for God! With this passion God can show His power and love shone through us - Jesus deserves our ALL! Pray for more and more situations good and bad so we can serve Him and see Him and show Him to all the world!"
