wrestle with salvation ?

Just think about this . Read Romans 5:6 " for when we were ,UTTERLY HELPLESS , WITHOUT STRENGHT , in due time Christ died for the UNGODLY " . Christ died for people who couldnt believe , unable to do anything at all , people like me with OCD . My salvation rests on Christ . He didnt die for believers He died for sinners , the ungodly . In Romas 4:3,4, or5 it says GOD JUSTIFIES THE UNGODLY . Theres hope people because the one qualification for salvation is , you must be a sinner , ungodly , helpless , weak , and without strength to do anything . HE WILL MAKE US INTO BELIEVERS . SEE ITS ALL ON HIM THE WAY HE WANTS IT !So if you have sinned then you can be saved for sure . John 6:37 , Mathew 11:28 , Just come , go to Jesus like we are and He does it all . He died for me without me asking Him to , before i was born , think about that . Im letting God be God He doesnt need my help . Love yall and so does Christ even though we feel other wise sometimes .

I hope i expain this right . This is what has helped me . See ive been disabled for nearly 15 months because my ocd grabbed my faith and tried to destroy me . I mean i really it got so bad i couldnt even go to church because i was afraid i would have those thoughts ( yall know them ) and hear God say its to late for you and other thoughts . So this is how Christ Jesus is helping me . He showed me this world is a fallen world because of sin in general . He showed me i was a sinner , thank you Jesus . Anyway He showed me He died for sinners . He showed me He saves not just from the punishment of sin but from its stronghold on me also . ok this is basically what has set me free . I look at my OCD as a consequence od " sin " in general . Not as a result of my personal sin but the result of the fallen world . He showed me over and over that He came to set me free from the "power" of sin " also in scripture . This is what He wants me to do . Let Him be who He is in me .He showed me that the desires i have to be saved and follow Him came from Him to begin with . In other words let Him set me free from all my fears and me stop trying to do it myself . He told me to lean on Him , not just a little but lean hard with all i am .See when i came to Him the rest is His responsability . He told me to stop thinking how a christian should feel and such and let Him change me . He is changing my heart and i depair of nobody experiencing the same .


Just think about in the world at the qualifications for jobs and things like that . How you have to be all this and that . SALVATION and eternal life in heaven with Christ : sinner , not worthy , unable to repent right , unable to believe enough , helpless , ungodly , enemy of God . Those are in Romans 5:6,8,10 . Eternal life is just for you . God had we who are helpless in mind when He came and died on the cross . Let go and let God have the responsability .

It's so great to read your post! Our OCD's, what if's and what about's don't define who God is - for us, to us, in us and through us. Often I imagine Him saying this to me - "Get over yourself Mitzi. Faith is not found in you but in all that I AM." Focusing on who He is instead of who we are is key to understanding the concept of grace.
Rest assured your post blessed me and I thank God for making these truths plain to you.
