I remember one Navy commercial where the two guys are talking about their car, and one says "I've got 300hp in my engine." And the other guy says "Yeah? My brother runs something more powerful." "Yeah? What is it?" "Nuclear." "Huh?" *cut to long shot of nuclear sub skimming the surface, and brother working on nuclear reactor in boat.because rocket science is more fun when you actually have rockets!"
It's kind of sickening.
LOL, that stuff has always been funny. I don't understand advertising, it's never made me want to join anything.xMinionX said:I remember one Navy commercial where the two guys are talking about their car, and one says "I've got 300hp in my engine." That one always cracked me up.
It's much easier than that. Two words. "I'm gay."Mongoose said:Anyway, my best advice to anyone who gets recruiters bothering them is to tell them that you're going into something like medical school, law school, or something that has to do with science. If you tell them that you're going into fields like music, art, or english, or if you tell them you are undecided, they won't leave you alone.
Wow, this is scary - what happens when recruiters really get desparate?

The story has been throughly debunked.
It's a bunch of paranoid, delusional and absurd lies made up by a leftist teenager on a leftist blog.
Speaking from the PERSONAL EXPERIENCE of one who served as a "Hometown Recruiter" under ARAP. I can tell you that recruiters do not behave in this matter.
What's more, this delusional teenager went on to claim that a Congressman went IN PERSON to the recruiting station after this alleged incident and yelled at the "head recruiter."

It's absurd.
And if anyone believes the garbage being spewed then we are in more trouble than i thought.

The story was never debunked, there was just one poster with ad hominem attacks on the news source.dittomonkey911 said:
