No true conservative would ever vote for a neocon like Gingrinch.

This election is just as much of a joke as last time. A bunch of big govt. Republicans trying to pretend they're different than the Democrats. And a bunch of suckers who will vote for anyone as long as it's not an evil Democrat. Business as usual. The only real alternative is Paul.

Worse than a non-voter is someone who holds their nose and only votes for a candidate in order to beat the other guy. It just perpetuates the cycle of Big Govt Option A versus Big Govt Option B. Better to take a stand and vote for who you believe is the best candidate (even if that means a third party) regardless of their chance of winning. And I for one couldn't care less if voting for a third party splits the vote for Big Govt Option A against Big Govt Option B.

I couldn't disagree more, I'm in the ABO camp, (Anyone But Obama). Can't you see what this man, (Obama), is doing to our country? He is completely out of his league and incompetent as POTUS.

Now that the religious right has endorsed Santorum, and vetted him as a Christian, I feel it's my responsibility to consider him over a mormon. Just sayin'...

In a perfect world I would too but it ain't happening, it will come down to voting for a morman or giving Obama another four years to complete the destruction of the nation we grew up knowing, the US Constitution means nothing to a Marxist.

Romney has already said he is not running as pastor in chief, there are many Christians such as myself that will indeed hold their nose when voting for the Republican nominee as they all have shortcomings but are ALL far above the current occupent of the White House as far as my values are concerned.

Well, since it's still primary time, I'll reserve judgment that Romney is the only one who can beat Obama. I believe that if Santorum (or Paul, or Gingrich) is the person God wants to beat Obama, then I need to be open to that.

I really wonder if the media at large is pushing this idea that only Romney has a chance to beat Obama is a political--purely political--ploy. I've seen it all I think, and that would be something they'd do.

Yes I agree drjean, as Faithman stated in a previous post Gods will shall prevail. I don't see the media saying Romney is the only Republican that can beat Obama, my opinion is he is the one who has had the foresight to organize a presidential campaign on a national scale, looking beyond the initial first few primaries.

Yep...well Romney shouldn't be making any mistakes...he's been running since when? 1996??? IDK for sure... but many times. I personally don't see much difference between his and Obama's plans/programs.

I hear that a lot but have you listened to his postions in the Republican dabates? Unless he is a out and out liar his positions are polar opposite from Obama.

I'm no fan of Obama, but I don't really see much difference between Obama and the last few presidents. Bush probably did more damage than Obama has. Most of the current GOP candidates (besides Paul) are more big government politicians who will continue to destroy the economy, pursue unjust wars and erode liberty, just in slightly different ways than Obama.

Yes the media is pushing Romney because it means that it will split the republican vote and ensure Mr. Obama'a re-election. The Dem's are counting on it and the media is all too happy to assist.

Since our choices usually boils down to two individuals who are politicians. Let's see a Mormon versus someone who professes to being a Christians but shows by his actions that he either is completely ignorant of what Scripture says, or is a wolf in sheep's clothing, then yes I would vote for a Mormon.

I cannot vote for an adulterer such as we have in Newt Gingrich nor a mormon such as we have as Mitt Romney. So it looks like I am not voting Republican this year!

I think I might like Santorum -Paul ticket... let Paul take care of the issues at home and Santorum put our world enemies on notice.

I don't trust Romney...you think the Iowa vote stuff isn't orchestrated?
Anyway... the Miami Herald ran a full page chart of what position each of them hold on the main issues...and frankly, Romney's is only different from Obama's in a few areas imo... and we all know how well Obama lied (lies.) Now if I can just trust The Miami Herald to not have slanted things again.

Candidates will say anything to get elected. You have to ask yourself, which political party do you trust more? If you want a socialist change in the USA similar to the European countries who are now relying on Chinese loans to prop them up, your choice is clear. However, if you want real reform of our pseudo-capitalist system, it may take more than one election. But the time to start is now otherwise we will drown in our own debt. There was only one candidate I really liked from the beginning, but she's no longer running and was probably unelectable anyway. I will vote against the Democrats and their agenda for whoever has the best chance to defeat them. If it's only an incrementally better change, that will be enough for me. I do not like the loss of hope and socialist change Obama that the Democrats have given us. It's time to say enough.

Some people here need to weigh the alternative, can we afford 4 more years of Obama? I for one cannot. I will vote for whatever republican candidate (hoping it will be Gringrich) whom has a real chance of winning, in order to at least VOTE AGAINST OBAMA. That's how I see it, if nothing else, I will vote against Obama, I will exercise and appreciate the freedom to send a personal message to the democrat party responsible for Obama.

I agree! I would love to see Newt and Obama debate.
