I refuse to answer on the grounds it may incriminate me.
Is it arrogant to consider oneself a righteous Christian?
I think it would be better to just let God call me righteous!

Classes of righteousness:

1. The church version: I am righteous because I believe that Jesus is the messiah.
2. The world version: I am righteous because I try to be a good person.
3. Yeshua's version: I am righteous because I spend nearly all of my minds time on the things of God. I pray all the time. I seek to please Him. I love other people. I love Muslims. I love Rastafari people. I love Buddhists. I love atheists. I love people of all races and religions. I never think myself above anyone.
I love mean people because I see that they are simply deceived and do not really hate me, but are confused. I love myself in a way, so I eat healthy and take care of the temple. I love pushy relatives because they were given to me and I am an example to them. I love liberal Democrats because they want to care for the poor. I love conservative Republicans because they want to uphold freedom.
I love drunks because they are usually happy and open to conversation. I love pot smokers because they love peace.....................are you getting the picture yet?

Moreso than in the past. I'm no longer committing mortal sins and my prayer life is better than before. I can always improve though.

Holiness should not really be conscious of itself, the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. Being conscious of itself means it is self-righteousness. All our righteousness is as filthy rags to God........because truly in our flesh dwells no good thing. Until Christ comes by His Spirit to dwell in us when we come to faith in Him. This is the only way our righteousness is able to exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees........when it is no longer our righteousness but the righteousness of Christ in us.

1 Corinthians 4:7

“For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?”

Luke 14:7-11

7 When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: 8 “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. 9 If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place.10 But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. 11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
