You are right, and there is a lot of baggage that comes with such a sin as with any sins. And as I said earlier, time is the tell as far as true repentance. And no I am not trying to be self serving. I do have a heart for prostitutes or former ones, because as I have said, I once knew several personally and know they are humanbeings too. Too many self-righteous people objectify prostitutes, that is put them into a category as though they are other than humanbeings. And by the way, the real question is, Would a Christian Man Date an ex-Prostitute, Yes this one would.

This is the internet, which means ANYBODY can come here with wild claims and statistics in an attempt to convince other people of their personal ideas and convictions.

I therefore do not give such 'statistics' much thought or time if the person giving them is unable to back them up. I hope you understand that I cannot possibly WASTE my valuable time doing online research into ANY CLAIM anybody makes online. What if after searching for days I come up with nothing concrete? I would be old and grey if I did such research for any claim by anyone. So if I say to you "it is a fact that 59% of children eat worms from their family gardens" and you asked me for back-up data, which I cannot come up with, would you really be motivated to go and research my claims on the internet? Would you even have the time?

In my humble opinion, it's better for people to not make claims 'as fact' if they can't back it up.

Sorry I take so long to reply; Ive been busy this weekend. But in answer to your question; Most things in your list are abhorrent and some of these people come from the dreg's of the dregs of humanity.
If someone decides to change their ways and see the error of their ways, it remains to be seen what those changes do to the person in the longrun. Will they go back to drugs? Will they go back to alcohol? What we are dealing with here is prostitution, not some exhaustive list about pedophiles and perverts. You should ask what put the woman in such a position in the first place; its nearly always a 'boyfriend' (pimp) that gets them hooked on drugs, and so they fall into the neverending vicious circle of selling their body = Money=Drugs. To break that cycle and come clean is worthy of great praise. I'm single now, I would have no objections whatever about dating or having a relationship with someone who worked as an escort or pro; after all, I've done wrong things in my life.(sin is sin, right?)

I truly hope there are christian men who will date an ex-prostitute. Sadly I have had friends and a family member who have been sucked into the sex-trade and only one has been able to make it out. I am heartbroken for them because they are beautiful women who all experienced a lack of love in their lives and have lost hope in ever finding it.
I don't know that they would believe me if I told them they could experience true love from a man who did not want to abuse them or take something from them, but I know that there are few who would be willing to risk getting into a relationship with them - so I can only hope that God would bring a man with a heart so big and so full of forgiveness that he could put her past behind them and show her a new way of being.

I don't view it as risk as I do having a heart full of forgivness and an ability to put the past behind you. Maybe I'm just a bit nieve but when someone makes a huge turnaround like that and comes to the Lord I tend to belive they mean it for real and they are 100% serious about it. I know I've made a big turnaround in my life when I realized that God was real and that I was foolish for being an atheist til I was 19. And I was even more foolish for mocking the word of God. Trust me those turnarounds do happen. And yes there is always a danger of backsliding just like there is a danger of someone who's been a christian their whole life just getting fed up with the whole thing and quitting.

Its the heart full of forgivness thats going to be the key. But I belive the very nature of love is forgiving. And I belive a man that truely loves a woman who has a past like this with time can forgive it too.

And the thing that I just realized that is really strange. In thousands of years in human history with writers, poets, philosphers, and scientists, no collection of writtings better explains what love really is better then the bible.

I know a man who's heart is big enough, who loves prostitutes so much he died for them so that they could break free from such cruel bondage, if they would only believe...There is only one man who has the right kind of love for these women to break free from such abuse.

Yeah but I think Jesus just wants to be friends. But he's certainly the best friend any of us will ever have or need.

But I belive Jesus can teach us all about forgivness. He has more of that in his fingernails then the rest of us do in our whole bodies.

I belive there are plenty of men that have learned enough from Jesus to understand what it means to forgive someone.

Well the truth is, unless an ex prostitute is healed by Jesus Christ himself, she will never find contentment with a man. She needs to be healed on the inside first, a man cant do that the way Jesus does.

Christ forgives all sins for those who belive in him. Given as long as I do not stop beliving in Christ I would not risk my salvation by doing so.

However what I would be doing would not be loving God but rather taking advantage of God by taking advantage of his grace.

I don't think fornication is in anyway right and I want to avoid it intellectually. But I'd be lying if I didn't say that it was not the greatest temptation in life that I have to deal with. I really feel like I am missing out, I am afraid that I will die before I have the chance to get married or have sex (or I'm afraid I will never be married).

No. I wouldn't. I would not date someone I would not have an intention of marrying and would not marry someone who is not a virgin. I hold the same standards of others that I do of myself. I have horrid OCD and the thought of being with a woman who has been with other men bothers me to the core of gross and yuck.
