My friends and I came up with an idea to try and find the worst movie ever. We are going to start going to the video store every so often and picking some movies that look so bad they are comical. I wanted to know if any of you had any ideas for some movies we should rent.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

UHF is great!
The worst movie ever is Gigli. It is far, far beyond the "so bad it's funny" stage. I honestly tried to watch this and couldn't make it past 20 minutes.

I don't think you'll find the worst movie ever made: It's norwegian and is called "Dis" (just look it up on IMdB!)

Crossroads (In fact, this one was better than I imagined, but it's still one of the worst movies I've ever seen!)

I loved that movie! So awesomely cool!
Sure it had bad lines and acting and stuff, but the coolness factor almost supersedes everything!

Ok, ok...I have to admit for a low budget film...it was good. But, since hardly anyone I have talked never even heard of it...I thought I would throw it in the mix.
I think any movie with MaryKate and Ashley, and that one Hillary Duff movie where she's mistaken for a famous singer somewhere in Europe...oh, and Bend It Like Beckham.Grrr. Preteen and teen movies drive me crazy.

Easily the worst film ever made is Manos the Hands of Fate. This movie is so bad, it makes you ill. In fact it was so bad, that 2 of the stars commited suicide the year it was made! No joke!
If you get a chance, watch the episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 where Mike, Tom, and Crow rip on it. I think it's the only way you can tolerate watching it.

Plan 9 from Outer Space is often called the worst movie of all time. Why?
- for flying saucers/UFOs they used plates with strings attached to them
- one of the lead actors died halfway through filming, so instead of re-casting, they had the director's wife's chiropractor play the rest of the role, covering his face with his cape.

The golf course that has a possessed lawnmower that runs over unsuspecting golfers??? My friends and I rented it once, it was full of laughs....laughing at the movie, not with it.
We knew it was going to be good when the coming attractions had a preview of "Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator." LOL!

Its been awhile, but I remember hearing/reading something that said this movie was used to teach others.
