I was at church about a week ago. A lady made the comment that we need to worship God for who he is, and not what he does for us.
This is something to think about. Would you continue to worship God if he never answered another prayer for you, or never blessed you again?
Second, who is God do we fully understand who he is? I mean we use words like "almighty" "glorious" and "everlasting" to describe God, but he is unlike anything that we will ever encounter on earth. So how do we worship God for who is he, when many times we do not fully understand who is is?
I hope this makes sense.
