  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Has anyone heard of this? Good, because I've invented it. It's a style that I think would be similar to heaven. They need to be in the same key and not too similar. Tempo can be the same <or> fairly different as if they are too close then it wouldn't work, and you need 2 worship leaders to keep it together. Any one done it?

That happens with our worship team sometimes when the Spirit of the Lord falls upon us..... I am remembering one time at a praise and worship gathering with people from different churches, when a young guy started off singing spontaneously, then a gal started singing a countermelody, then I joined in, and the master songweaver Himself kept the songs in tune with one another..... it was awesome!

We had an experience like that at Praise band practice on Sunday.. It was really cool Like we were singing "Here I am to Worship" and we've always said that our practice is our praise and worship, so it really came to be. But we were singing and then I just started to sing "Grace Like Rain" out of nowhere but it sounded so cool and we just kept going.

One song that I love to sing in Praise and Worship is "Father I adore you" and sing it as a round it sounds so awesome!

God Bless!

I'm always looking for new ways to do songs and redo songs. I like to tie a lot of songs together so we do not have to stop at all.

I like "Here I Am To Worship" and sometimes pair it up with "Let Everything That Has Breath" by Matt Redman.

I also love to sing the chorus and bridge of "We Are Hungry "Passion)" at the same time. The guys sing 'We are Hungry, we are hungry, we are hungry for more of You' and the girls sing 'We lift our holy hands up, we want to touch You.'

Sounds to me like all you would need would be a trance/dance beat, cuz that's what they always do with their music and it usually comes out pretty stellar.
