Worship Team

Well, anyways, hi people. I just wanted to know something. Who in here is part of the Worship Team in youth church? The age would be highly appreciated too, I am just curious to find out how many people are in the worship team and their age. Thanks!

I've been apart of my church's music and worship ministry for about two years now. Two years ago I started playing keyboard with another friend (she played guitar and sang) for the children at our church. That really went well and about a year and a half ago I started playing with a youth band affiliated with our church. Our youth band however is not really a youth band because it's a mix of ages. It kind of originated as a youth band but right now we are just a worship ministry in the church and through out our community. Along side with that, I have played in the main church service's worship team for about a year now. I also help lead worship for youth group time by playing guitar.

The short of it I play with a lot of people and started when I was 14 and a half.

im on my church worship team also im 15 and i sing . Most of the plp are older than me but i still love doing it. Most of the guys and girl that play the instruments are around my age though.

Heya!

Well I'm 18, and I play the drums and sing for our adult worship service. However, when our praise and worship leader can't make it, I'll play the acoustic and then lead worship. For youth group, I play the electric guitar and sing and lead the worship service, all glory to God!

I'm in just one of the worship teams though. theres a few at our church.

whats going on marduke - are you involved with the current worship team? if so do you sing/play an instrument?

i play guitar (started 3 months ago) i goto all the practises, but i havnt played with the current worship team yet, i was meant to last week, but i didnt get to (it has happened 3 times where i havnt been able to play) so i think that could be a sign that im meant to play in the youth worship team thats why i started learning the guitar in the first place.

i play guitar for most our services. Although the odd service i will play drums. My girlfriend, who is 16 sings almost every service and plays piano for some too. We have 4 piano players that are under the age of 16. Everyone else is older though..

i play for my youth group on mondays (i'm 15) but if my friend patrick doesn't show up i play the djembe....which is awesome,cus' i love the djembe.

All for the glory of God! I've been playin guitar for a few months now at our youth church, before that I was a vocalist. I also sing and play acoustic for our chapels at school and sometimes at church too. I've been leading worship too, for a morning prayer and worship time we have at our school from 7-8 two mornings a week. I'm also involved in house of prayer that is starting in our area, so I play acoustic and sing for that too, I've also lead for it too. Its cool cuz we're doing the harp and bowl worship model which is a mixture of prayer and worship, and then antiphonal singing, which is sing scriptures and prayers. Its really powerful and way cool to do. oh yah, i'm 18.
