Ok, sorta weird, because I just come to see something in this that I never saw before, but HOW I got there was through looking into another thing altogether, but I was really sorta wowed by it and sent it to two good brothers in the Lord first before posting (just to be sure I wasnt seeing things). I wasnt going to post it at all, then changed my mind, but bear with me for the first few verses, because there was a post upstairs I was seeking to study out (in an answer for) and so began "from there", however I caught something on my way and turned to go in another direction. I just didnt know how to back track it, because I just caught it.

This is pretty kool though, you gotta check this out

Acts 7:14 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Star of your god Remphan which is the same as Malcham, which likewise shows...

Zep 1:5 And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham 4428;

Likewise says...

Romans 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.


Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

1Cr 10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Which come from Exodus 32:6 (Paul says are our examples) and whereas God says to Moses

Exodus 32:7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

In the same like manner he shows how...

Duet 4:16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

Then for the first time I noticed this

Duet 29:18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;

Which is interesting because here likewise it says...


Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Rev 8:11a And the name of the star is called Wormwood:

And this in connection to it says...

Rev 8:11b...and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Now back up a verse...

Rev 8:10a and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

James speaks of ourselves as a fountains

And likewise speaks after the same manner

James 3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

Whereas here...

Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

And then look here...

Rev 8:11b and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

And we know sweet and bitter water is used in accord with, "blessing (sweet) and cursing (bitter) by James in the same context. Here it is indicative of that which cometh out of our mouths, which ironically Jesus said "what cometh out of a mans mouth defileth a man", and given we are to have living water in us (His Spirit) in "blessing and not cursing" (as we ought). The tongue truly has the power of life and death.

Whereas very interestingly enough, in relation to Judas, it says...

Psalm 109:18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

Of which (likewise) Acts speaks of His bowels gushing out, but now (as I have shared on Judas before) I think (because of this) I am catching something more in this too, as even our bowels (wherein we enlarged) in our affections toward one another) being somewhat disemboweled somehow... I dont know, I am sitting here thinking on this, and how one thing can have you reflect on something (elsewhere) and maybe catch it on a deeper level maybe.

Waters of gall, or poisoned waters not only reflect bitterness of speech, but also poisoned doctrine.

Job 20:14;"Yet his (meat) in his (bowels) is turned, it is the (gall) of asps within him."

Numbers 5:27;"And when he has made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be( defiled ), and have (done the trespass) against her husband, that the( water that causes the curse) shall enter into her, and become(bitter), and in (her belly) shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people."

But out of (the bellies) of the Lords disciples shall spring forth Living waters.

But for those who sin against the Lord.

Jeremiah 8:14;"Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the Lord our God has put us to silence, and given us(water of gall)to drink, because we have sinned against the Lord."

Jeremiah 9:15;"Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with (wormwood), and give them(water of gall) to drink."

Jeremiah 23:15;"Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with (wormwood,) and make them drink (the water of gall): for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into the land."

These false prophets will even try to pollute the (sanctuary of strength) with their poison doctrine.

Psalm 69:21;"They gave me also (gall for my meat); and in my thirst they gave me( vinegar) to drink."

But the Truth shall not drink from the lie.

Matthew 27:34;"They gave him( vinegar) to drink mingled with(gall): and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink."

But even so, the Lords disciples shall also be immune from this deadly doctrine of the serpent.

Mark 16:18;"They shall take up (serpents) and if they (drink any deadly thing), it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Love it SpiritIntruth! Thank you so much brother, you were really confirming some of the things I had set aside for quite sometime. I was seeing the bitter waters (and belly) in the woman (turning aside) to lies (or aside from him, her husband) who she is to be a chaste virgin (which pertains to their "minds" being corrupted) but likewise to her "chasted conversation". This is more then a profession of godliness but walking in the truth, the doctrine of Christ which is "after godliness". There is so much on the tongue, ones communictaion and of showing what goes out comes in (its amazing!) How overlooked is that little member of ours.

This was an older study a few years back (so its not perfect) just what I was looking at (at the time) and its got some funky html on it on parts where I cannot change the underlines, but your post was a real blessing bro.

Now brother, when I fail to find a point on your threads I dont come onto your thread and say so. How is that being kind?

However, to answer your question, what amazed me was of "the wormwood" (only) on the first post not a thing before it (and I said so at the beginning the study). It all doesnt mesh (agreed) I started somewheres (studing to answer for a post elsewhere) but and ended up where I started seeing wording I hadnt noticed in respects to "that only".

I should have clipped it off from top and only put it out there from the wormwood down but I didnt.

And I felt no "ah ha" as you say even with my last post, I stated that was a study from years ago, and not really a study, but more of looking for connections so I can (from understanding certain points) understand somewhat of what I am studying. So I just snagged it and tossed it up, which actually leads nowhere either (agreed) but speaking to the belly, bitter waters, cursing and blessing.

There is no such "expounding and articulating anything here on my part.

And since I just saw it minutes prior to posting (as I stated) what kind of "Ah ha" are you looking for until I have furthered examined what I received and better show it?

Its how the Lord always teaches me, brings something to my attention and then seeing how it fits (even slightly) gives me my direction on a thing, from there he opens it up further and I can post "something grander" (for an "ah ha")

However, what I was looking for was presenting an opportunity for those who saw something more then myself to come onto the thread and perhaps ADD to what I was seeing a glimmer of, which SpiritInTruth did.

Bitterness of words which spring from an unfaithful heart (which love to curse rather then bless) is what I was catching. The poison of asps rightly pointed out by Him.

Now brother, do you have something to add? or is the comment above, the best you can do for my edification?

I am not offended brother its almost expected around here, though less so on this forum, is why I chose it. Its the way you asked my brother, it is percieved more like you intended to demean me (which also can be expected here). I am not (and obviously so) a finely tuned theologian. I really learned how to read at age 24, so I come up behind on my communication skills and sharing even as I have shared on this before. So I hope no one expects some grand discourse on any of my threads, because there wont be any. I know in part and share in part, and if my "little" be despised, then let it I guess, but if someone feels they have much more then me, "please, do share" as I was sure hoping for just that.

Yes brother I do know wormwood means chernobyl in Russia but I do try to see these things comparing the scriptures with the scriptures and see how the Lord might mean it.

This is the way Revelation is to be read, understood, and kept! (I won't comment on Chernobyl though; I never seek to dissociate Spiritual from natural)

When you read it this way, look how much of Scripture is summarized in the one word, wormwood ...

You may want to consider the following in combination with your study.
I also suggest that you take a look at the original Greek words and their meanings.

Regarding the 3rd Trumpet: ...and fell from the heaven a star great (a powerful messenger-leader), burning as a lamp (a bright false light/way of good), and it fell upon each one of the three...the rivers (large countries) and upon the fountains (smaller countries) and of waters (all peoples).

And the name (character-identity) of the star (this leader) is called Wormwood. (The original Greek word for Wormwood is “apsinthos” which refers to the pagan god Artemis, or better known as Diana (mother of gods). (Note: this leader will proclaim and advance a belief that places itself above the True God and which will act as an umbrella protector belief for all individual religious beliefs.) ...and becomes (changed into) all three into wormwood (into the way of this false belief), and many of the men died (became disaccustomed/untaught of their previous belief) of the waters (peoples) because they were made bitter (became servants of the head/this way).


Regarding the 3rd Bowl: And the third angel poured his bowl into the rivers, and into the fountains of waters, and they became blood (became man’s nature/kinship). And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous, O Lord, art thou, who are and who was and the holy one, that these things thou did judge, because the blood of saints and of prophets they poured out (promulgated widely) and blood to them you gave to drink, worthy for they are.


Because man has rejected Christ as the Son of God, as the Only True Way, God is allowing man to fully embrace the way of the self will, preparing him for the time of judgement and punishment. This was seen in the past when God gave up man to their carnal and perverted desires after they rejected Him. Sodom and Gomorrah was an example of this judgement.
