World's oldest tortoise dies

Sad news. A giant tortoise in an Indian zoo has died of liver failure. He was at least 150, and may have been 250 years old.

Imagine being born before the American Revolution. Incredible.

Awe thats sad. I can't imagine living that long. But in bible times 150-250 was young.

Did you hear about the leopard tortoises being sold "as shells" out of Africa and they were caught at the airport?? Living turtles. grrrrrrrrr
