I know every guitar publication will say that it was either Jimmy Page, or Jimi Hendrix...but I want to know what real people think.

Hendrix, no doubt. There are a lot of other great guitarists, but he's unquestionably the best.

Hmmm... tough question!! I like Page, Hendrix, Clapton, The Edge and Phil Keaggy. I'm not too familiar with the works of the other guartist's listed (though I have heard some songs).
