World technology statistics?

I'm trying to find some stats on technology/poverty throughout the world. Things like, how many people have clean drinking water, how many people can afford toothbrushes or shoes, how many people have access to modern medical treatment etc.

Google is not being kind to me, I just get search results on vibrating toothbrushes and the world's most expensive shoes. If anyone has 1337 searching skillz please help me!

Try NationMaster. There is also StateMaster if you are looking for statistics for US states.
