I think getting the loot is part of the whole point. What game is going to be fun if they hand your lvl 1 character the indestructable ray of death and the armor of never die? Sure it might be fun for about 5 minutes but there is no challenge and will soon fade away.Cathulhu said:I don't get why people like this game so much. I tried hard to play it because all my friends do, but I really dislike it, infact its one of only three games I can honestly say I hated (ET for the atari and Matrix online) It just seems too repetitive, I got a warlock (zombie, Hoard for life!) and played him to 65 (or whatever the cap is, I think thats it) I also hate the loot system, the loot makes the character and if you don't have "IT" you are gimped...
I witness while I play and have alot of fun doing it. No fire and brimstone witnessing but "yeah sure I'll help you out" and strike up conversations while we play. My wife also plays so we have an enjoyable past time that we do together. If you are feeling a "dark" presense over the game that just tells me that is where you should be shining a light. Pray over it before you play. Dont give into addiction, and have fun.capnator said:However Much better would be to not start playing WoW in the first place, it takes up WAY to much time and will definately not help your spiritual life. I have played it a *lot* and I would like to say that a "dark" pressence presides over the realms of WoW.

Cathulhu, your avatar is crazy. It looks like Hello Kitty mated with a squid AND a bat, ate too much green goo, and gave birth to a demon kitten.
I've never played City of Villians and Heroes. My point is the setting of the game, in the case of WoW, is an epic fantasy. While there are two factions that are opposed to each others there is a stated (but not practiced) state of peace between them. In fact they are gearing up to go to war together against a great evil that is coming into the land right now. With no open and declared war the whole drive is to get the cool gear.Cathulhu said:What about City of Villains and Heroes, they have next to no loot system and Thats one of my favorite games of all time
Its Hello Cthulhu! A sweet and cuddly bundle of elder love!
