I am working on the Chopin Ballad 2 and consider it a personal challenge since I got Dupuytren's Contracture last year. My #3 finger on my right hand is bent inward as well as #5 finger which is slightly less bent. I will not have any surgery nor needle Aponeurotomy as seen in the animation video at the above link. I prefer to just keep practicing and playing this piece to keep my fingers lose and limber for quick movement.
I like this interpretation by Zimerman even though he makes a noticeable mistake in the 11 measure from the last, in the high 8.... f a c, but saves it a little by adding an accent in the 10th measure from the last also in the f a and c notes.
