(I just realised I probably should post this here as well as in the Women's forum, since it's well and truly SA-related!)

I love it when God speaks to our church a person at a time, and gets us all united for a specific goal.

He's been speaking to me for a couple of weeks about the importance of prayer in christian life, and in church life... and specifically about 'big' amounts of prayer (eg. 24/7 prayer movement). I know (from talking to others in the church about this) that he's been prodding other people with feelings that the church needs to get serious about him and his work. And lo and behold - our church is holding a Prayer Day (8 hours of constant prayer) in two weeks time! How's that for divine co-ordination!

That is great. I just love to see God's love and devotion for us in action and he loves to see are love and devotion for him as well. My corps did that also but for 24 hrs, we had a sign up sheet and everything and then at the end, we all prayed as one., it was fun and very rewarding. I just loved it. Plus, a church that prays together, grows together.
