WOCS & Flight Traning

Hey everyone, i am looking to apply for wocs so i can fly helicopters, and i was wondering if anyone here has gone through the army warrant officer program. I would like any tips if possible and just any advice that could be given to get in and through the training. Any response would be appreciated, God Bless

That is me, well not yet, I am planning to do it some time next year Lord willing. I know ins and outs for the active duty applicants, if it helps.

Did you get picked up for a flying position? Pilot/Nav?

I think Dan mentioned about going to Warrant Officer Flight Training program in the Army, which I will also be applying to, however, if he decides to go to USAF Helos, he will eventually get his training from Army instrustors at Rucker.

Always wanted to get that feeling of high G's flying a high performance a/c but I am happy with the route I am on, Army means you are more than just a pilot that flies the helicopter.

Good luck on the journey. As cool as fixed wings are... nothing beats the fun of flying a helo! You can do so much more in so much smaller of an area.

Ditto, a lot fixed time but haven't done any rotor time yet, I can't wait for the day I learn how to hover.
