  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

i have about 50 cds on a .wma format i would like to convert to .mp3. ihave realone and windows media player. is there a free way to do this so i can listen to mp3 disk on my new MXGT88(awesome, 460 watts for 200 bux) stereo.or will i have to buy a nero-like program
Do you have Roxio/Adaptec Easy Cd Creator? If so, burn your wma's as an audio cd onto an rw cd and then use ECDC to extract the cd onto the hard drive into mp3 format.........finding a free converter for wma to mp3 isn't very likely and the same with finding a plugin for windows media player or real player.......

Actually there are a lot of free downloads and trials that you can use and simply delete after you have used it for 30 days or however long it lets you use it. Some are "crippled" but still work fine.

I used to have one that was totally free and worked great but the ol' computer crashed and had to reformat the hard drive  But Here is a link to a site with a few different ones that you can try I don't have enought post to link to external sites so you'll have to copy and paste this bad boy in another window, and add www to the front:

.downloadatoz.com/audioconverter/

Hope that helps you out a bit!
