So i have been kinda waiting for a chance to witness to my mormon friend, and now God has finally given me that chance! We started talking about baptisms for the dead when she told me she was going on a temple trip and i tried explaining to her its not biblical and such and then other differences came up so we just agreed to meet sometime over the week and just talk, or explain what we think.

So how should i witness to her? Should i talk about the differences between christians and mormons? I dont want to attack her and tell her shes not a christian or tell her some of the stuff they believe isnt biblical, but i want her to know! Except she thinks i need to understand, when she needs to and when i talked to her before she ended up agreeing with me on everything and then she would say BUT..... we think this or we think this verse means something else. So if anyone has witnessed to a mormon before or has any advice or good websites i would be really thankful! :)

I know someone who was raised Mormon but is now agnostic. She believes wholeheartedly that Mormonism and Christianity are the exact same thing. When I told her about what Mormonism teaches, she said I was 'wrong, misinformed, etc'. I wonder if perhaps the Mormon church lies to their own congregation until such a time as they are fully indoctrinated?

I dunno. I guess what I'm saying is I need help with this too.

Gal 1:8
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Also, Dumitru Duduman (a Romanian prophet) was invited to the Mormon Church in Salt Lake City, there, he announced that the book of Mormon is not from God, and that Joseph Smith is a false prophet. Suddenly, many people started rejoicing, and he wondered why. It turned out that an angel appeared behind him. Many people gave their lives to Jesus then.

The one thing that Mormons cannot do. They cannot do signs and wonders. They cannot access the Holy Spirit to get people healed or demons cast out. The best way to convince a Mormon is to lay hands on the sick and let them see the Holy Spirit heal them. They will then see that all they have is a religion of words only; but you will be able to show that your Christian faith is in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit.

Using the gift of the Word of Knowledge is another effective tool to get through to Mormons, JWs or any other of the cults. When you able to speak into the lives of these people things that only God can know about them, they will be dynamically affected. These things never happen in their churches, and when they see you demonstrating the supernatural power of God, they will be drawn to you and to your Christian faith.
