WINTERS NIGHT
Shes broken and dying but holds on so tight,
What she would give to not have to fight.
For a life which seems so pointless and small,
Why hold on when its so easy to fall?
Shes cold and frail, alone she lies,
Into the dark night she whimpers and cries.
For someone to come and take the pain,
For someone to let her, at rest be lain.
Shes fragile and small in the deep black night,
Somebody came and stole her light.
So broken inside she prays to be dead,
For the voices to be gone from inside her head.
Shes frightened and freezing on this winters night,
The ice will come and grip her tight.
Her broken soul has now been sold,
To the icy night that has taken hold.
