We stopped at Winipeg in summer of 2013 on our way to British Columbia. My wife wanted us to spend some time in St-Boniface because of its French roots and history.

We really enjoyed driving through the prairies early July. Nature was beautiful.

Glad you enjoyed passing by. I just moved to St. Boniface because of a great place to live opened up, thank God. I am grateful to be in an area with a different language spoken. It is interesting. Don't think I'll learn french though.

Hiya there! It's been a little while since this thread has been active, but I'd thought I'd throw in that I'm from Winnipeg too. It's certainly been an interesting few days for our city but praise God that everyone has remained healthy.
