  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Will you face defeat?

Should Christians washing each others feet be a regular occurrence.. I believe I happens in some churches once in a while, but maybe it should be done regularly as a practice in humility?

“It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”
‭‭John‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬, ‭13‬-‭15‬, ‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is something the Lord gave us as an example for humility & service to others. Apart from humility etc., it does not seem binding and I believe the Lord gave us other examples that we must take to heart. Examples like the good Samaritan ( Luke 10:25-37) & how sinful pride is unfaithful and undermines otherwise good works ( Luke 18:9-14).
