Yeah I believe we will, although I also believe we won't be sad. I dunno how this can happen, but it will.

I have to disagree. There is no joy in a loved one going to hell. There is sorrow.

It will be interesting to see some scriptural support on either side.

Well a scripture came to mind. It's in revelations. When the martyred saints ar at the alter in heaven, wanting God to give out Justice to those who killed them (I think thats it )

How this ties into everything is up to discussion.

Will it be a matter of knowing or remembering or will we be altered in that our way of thinking and being are totally different?
I kinda think of it this way, if twins are born and one month later one of them dies now these babies spent 10 months together 9 in the womb and 1 in the world yet the baby that lives might possibly have the feeling of something missing but will not remember his/her sibbling unless someone tells him/her.
Thats not the greatest example but it starts to help me to understand that.

This isone of those questions that I do not think is directly answered in scripture. it is always fun to think about them though. The only evidence that i know of that we will know of the people in hell is the parable about the rich man and Lazarus. But that is just a parable and not exactly what we are speaking of here.

I would have to say that I dont think we will know the lost ones.....because: if we remember our lost friends and family, that would more than likely make us sad to see them not there, and there isnt any sadness in Heaven..Just my thoughts..

Yes of course, they will be more real to you there, then they are here. Even those who gave us our Bible, we are told our fellowship is with them. How wonderful it will be to finally be able to meet them in person. But even now, the Holy Spirit is telling us all about them.

We well shed a tear for those who we loved but did not make it. But then God will wipe away that last tear, and after that there will be no more pain, misery, suffering or sorrow. All of that will pass away. Thanks, JohnR7

When we are born again, our mind changes. We take on the mind of christ, the attitudes of Jesus and the divine thoughts of God. A Jesus attitude for example is that it is more blessed to give then to receive. Jesus attitude was to love, forgive and even bless our enemys. His attitude was to always build up, encourage and do our best to help as many as we are truely able to help.

We will forget the bad and remember the good. As Corrie Tan Boon used to love to say: God puts our sins into the sea of forgetfullness and puts up a no fishing sign. God does not remind us of our sin, the devil may try to remind us. But the devil will be in the bottomless pit, and he will not be able to bother us anymore. Thanks, JohnR7

The bible says that we will know all things - and be as He is - so I would think yes we will know of them - but we will not be physical - we will be spirit - so it will be very interesting!
