But they never refused the Kingdom of God. They were unaware of it.
I didn't say they had refused it. But at some point it has to come to active acceptance or refusal. Ultimately there's no neutral ground on which to stand.

He came to us and we're killing and stealing at an alarming rate. Why should they be different?

Who is the "us" you're referring to? None of the Christians I know kill or steal. And if they did, we'd all have good grounds to suspect the genuineness of their salvation.

If the Sentinelese had Christ come to them and preach the gospel to them, and they are still killing any strangers who approach them, then obviously they have rejected the teachings of Christ and will be going to hell.

Seriously? I see. It would seem that such a rule would be so everyone can gang up on the non-christian person asking the questions........

this is not a debate forum. It is a forum for those wishing to explore (know more) about Christianity. Obviously, only Christians would respond.

...Or it would allow for Non-Christian to have His/Her specific questioned answered, in a Christian specific way. Hence the title of this message board: Exploring Christianity, Not Exploring Atheism or any "other" world view.

If your intent is truly "Exploring Christianity" then why take offense when you're placed in a situation that allows you to do just that?

Um, I'm not quite sure of your question. I'm saying that the Bible prohibits murdering and stealing for all Christians (not just the ones I know). Therefore, if a "Christian" makes a practice of both things, there is some good grounds to suspect their claim to a spiritual second-birth, to being a Christ-follower.

I don't quite get this part of your question: "...Christians don't kill or steal immorally only for personal gain." That last part, "immorally only for personal gain," confuses me most. Is there some way to kill (or murder, which is what I mean when I used the term "kill") and steal, morally? Is murder or theft justified if committed without interest in personal gain? Were you being a little redundant? Or is there more to the issue for you?

If they have stolen or murdered, it is in violation of the faith in Christ as Lord and Saviour they claim to possess. The issue as I see it isn't how many have stolen or murdered, but whether or not God has condemned such behaviour, which He has.

Is punishing someone ignorant of a law just?..... no.

I'm questioning God's expectations of us to follow him if we are isolated from civilization and religion in general.

Even though this is a tad out of bounds by strict forum rules, this much is at least civil and very likely genuine so I'll try to maybe shed some light.

I know I've posted relevant Scripture to this point in more than one place, and I think I did so in this thread. The point is NO ONE is w/o excuse! There is no such thing as "being ignorant of God's (basic) law."

This highlights the greatness of God Himself, and His ability to "write His law in our hearts," put His word in our mouth, etc. This is possible to all mankind equally only because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and I see the modern Church mistakenly limiting God's greatness on this issue.

Don't get me wrong, the preaching of the Gospel, sound teaching, and the whole process of Discipling is still very important. The only real way to be sure we're "hearing God" and later to learn to recognize His voice (and to distinguish it from our own thoughts, etc) is by comparing it to His written word.

Even so, the more basic things can be known from observing our physical world, every detail of which "speaks" of God, in it's own way. So we are ALL w/o excuse.

If any of this is unclear please ask, as there are myriads of ways of getting the same point across. God works like that! "We are the sheep of His pasture" means (among other things) he knows even the smartest of us are downright DUMB compared to Him He kindly illustrates important points not only over and over again, but in various ways in Scripture. The point being, sooner or later we'll get it if we sincerely want to know Him. I do wish you success in that venture ...

A little background on the Sentinelese. They live on North Sentinel Island in the Andaman archepeligo. They have steadfastly resisted any contact with the outside world for.....60,000 years or so. Anyone who approaches usually ends up as a pin cushion for their arrows. Obviously no missionaries have made it there alive.

According to Christian theology are they headed for hell after death?[/QUOTE]

Their arrows show that they do not want any outside message. To them,Jesus is an outside message. If a missionary has tried to come in,& been killed,His/her blood ads to their guilt.

Check out Luke 12:

46)The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.

47)“That servant who knows his master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48)But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

It speaks of "A law unto themselves" in Romans 2.But it never says anyone who keeps most of the law will be saved.Look at James 2:10 :

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

So if you have heard the gospel & have rejected it,your punishment will be far worse than those who did not hear.
