HERETIC !!!Sounds pretty close to "Preterism" to me, which view I am of
Yeah. I have a big fat H branded on me forehead and I carry around a broken sword....drum roll please...HERETIC !!!(joking)
Amillennialism is similar in some respects to Partial Preterism, but as I am sure you are aware, many view full preterism as ... heterodox.
According to lark news, we're all "left behind"

What does the 1000 yrs of Revelations mean to you?5. When Christ returns, "new heavens and a new earth" will be created (2 Pet. 3:10-13). Nowhere, however, do the Scriptures teach that at His return Christ will establish a this-worldly, political kingdom or "millennium."

I chose the first. We will meet him in the air (the Rapture) and his feet will touch the ground when he comes back to reign 1,000 years (after the Tribulation).
And dude, that link made me look side eyed at whoever wrote that. Is that a legit site?
I second that!Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven. The angels who appeared to the Apostles said He'd descend just as He ascended.
Glad to hear that it was a joke. I knew it was, but it could really throw off a babe in the Lord who sees it. You know what I mean? It's a bit tongue-in-cheek, or a lot tongue in cheek. It's meant to be joking.

You kid you kid...So could dispensationalism, but what can you do?
(I'm joking again, OK?)
on the earth, because the Bible cannot contradict Itself...Will his feet actually touch the ground in the second coming?
1 Thess 1:17 states we will be caught up to meet him in the air, Rev 21 seems to support this idea by describing the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven and the bride of Christ (church) is within, and this is after the old heaven and earth had passed away, also backed up in Matt 24:35.
However there are some who suggest Jesus will physically return to Earth. They support this by quoting Zechariah 14:4 which says, "in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives," and Revelation 11:15 which says, 'The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!'"
Does Zechariah 14 and Rev 11 describe the second coming?
2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
1000 years is symbolic of the eternal earthly reign of Christ. What does the 1000 yrs of Revelations mean to you?
1000 years is symbolic of the eternal earthly reign of Christ.
Revelations, aka The Apocalypse of John, like passages in Daniel, Isaiah, and some of other prophets, is apocalyptic literature. Apocalyptic literature is similar to parables in that it communicates literal truth by non-literal means.
On the other hand, narrative literature, such as historical passages in the OT, the gospels, Acts and the epistles, communicates actual events by literal means.
I'm sometimes amused by those who would take non-literal apocalyptic literature so literally (1000 years) but then decide that narrative passages ("this is my body") do not mean what they say literally.
You kid you kid...
Not apologizing for my beliefs!!!
