Hi,

When Jesus returns will He come down from the sky and still be in His 2000 year old body ?
So will He be in an immortal body when He returns ? (Since when He resurrected He became immortal right ?)

Thank you for clarification
To be immortal means you do not die.

If you cease to be immortal, you were never immortal in the first place.

Jesus' resurrection body, as will be ours, is immortal, and yes, that is the body in which he will return
. . .immortal, without aging or decay.

Yeah otherwise, I'm sure people would start getting ideas.
I have a feeling they'll get them anyway, I just don't expect them to work out too well.

Jesus will be in His glorified state when He returns.

Revelation 1:
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

2Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Ezekiel 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

Jesus is a divine person with a glorified human body in a hypostatic union He will always be 100% God as well as 100% human, two natures one person.

[Act 1:11 NIV] "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

This seems like a silly question, but perhaps you just don't know. Jesus was and is GOD and God is eternal. He took on flesh and His body died, but HE did not die. His body was resurrection and was then made immortal - never to die again. It was a flesh and BONE body that needs no blood for life.

Amen.

Rev 1
17 When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, 18 and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Jesus will clearly appear as one who will never die again.

no blood for life
No Blood?? Jesus is 100% man in His body, men have blood, Jesus has blood.

Is this in a literal sense or symbolic sense (of how Jesus "rose" from obscurity) ?

Jesus was already that before the Cross. Even more so after the Resurrection. Except it is an incorruptible body and a robe of white (the spirit). An incorruptible body has no age or decay. Immortal means to put on God. God is Light. We put on a garment of light. Immortality is the glorification process. The rejoining of the spirit of light with a physical permanent incorruptible body. 2 Corinthians 5 explains the physical incorruptible body. The spirit is not a body. It is a light that we put on like a robe. Revelation 6:11.
