This chapter is based on pp. 497-605 of Origin of Life (Volume Two of our three-volume Evolution Disproved Series).

Not included in this chapter are at least 472 statements by scientists. You will find them, plus much more, on our website: http://evolution-facts.org.

This is the largest and one of the most important chapters in this book.

Fossil remains provide evolutionists with their only real hope of finding evidence that evolution might have occurred in the past.

If the fossils do not witness to evolution in the past, then it could not be occurring now either...

As I said earlier, there are millions of 'missing links' - between every supposed stage - despite the billions spent in futile search for what doesn't exist

I'll adlib from Dr Henry Morris classic, "Noah's Ark & The Genesis Flood"

I'm sure it was echoed in the famous recent "The Grand Canyon: A Creationist Viewpoint" by 23 scientists of various disciplines inc geologists & oceanographers

Pre-cambrian strata have no fossils

Then the 'Cambrian explosion' shows complex fossils & simple fossils intermingled with no evidence of gradual microbes-to-man, slime-to-sublime, goo-to-you macro-evolution

Mount St Helens volcano produced layers, in jusrt hours,that evo-loopies would say, in the Grand Canyon, etc, took millons of years

The Earth's strata, going from heaviest rocks at the bottom to lightest soils at the top, is entirely consistent with the Global Flood of Genesis 6, whose cataclysmic pressure formed & preserved the fossils

I'm off to bed: it's 12.32am here, but ther many mighty healiong miracles, the past few weeks, at the Florida Outpouring on www.God.TV till 2am has been so thrilling

Of course, all USA time zones can still see "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" tonight

I was going to post a load of links to sites listing so called missing links, but is their really any point? Ondaball isn't interested and probably hasn't the wit to understand them and anyone can google missing link if they want.

If someone is really interested I suggest buying Evolution|:What the fossils say by Donald Prothero.

Here is my top 3 favourite transitional fossils.

1) Velvet worms, transitional between nematode worms and arthropods. Seen in the early Cambrian, still alive today c.f. Peripatus.

2) Acorn Worms, Transitional between a halfway house between Echinoderms and Chordates

3)Tiktaalik rosea a transitional between fish and Amphibians, one of many in a whole range but possibly the most exciting. Has fish like scales, jaws and palate, but a mobile nexk and head and an ear that worked in air.

Of course Ondaball doesn't believe that these things exist

Before this goes too far, perhaps you could help us out a bit.

If humans and chimps share a common ancestor, what features should an intermediate fossil have? Be specific.

I think that is called Gish's Law (althought Xeno may sue over copyrights). Leave it to creationists to claim that the more evidence you have supporting your theory the worse off you are.

I find it difficult being called Dumbo by someone with as little brain as you, but I will let it pass.

This post wasn't really for you, you have proved you have neither the desire nor the capacity to learn anything about science.

I don't debate you, how could I debate someone who can't take part in rational debate? I use your posts to make decent points for rational and interested people to make use of.

In this case a list of my 3 favourite transitional animals. I knew you wouldn't get what I was saying, but I am sure that others will.

I just love this Cretaceous hammer hoax LINK
In June of 1934, members of the Hahn family discovered a rock, sitting loose on a rock ledge beside a waterfall outside London, Texas. Noticing that this weathered rock had wood protruding from it, they cracked it open with a hammer and chisel, exposing the hammer head to the light of day for the first time since the stone formed around it. To verify that the hammer was made of metal, they cut into one of the beveled sides with a file. In the resulting nick, bright, shiny iron was exposed. The bright metal in the nick is still there, with no detectable corrosion.

Recently, a radiocarbon dating test was performed on a sample of wood removed from the interior of the handle. The results showed inconclusive dates ranging from the present to 700 years ago. This is graphic evidence that the handle has been contaminated by current organic substances.

This is the best; the carbon dating ages have a range of up to 700 years old and the creationists suggest that this is contamination, they are so sad, they really are.
