Marxism and Humanism are the predominant philosophies of America's education establishment

Based on your rant I'm not sure you even know what it is you are complaining about. For instance, here is the definition of Humanism.

Humanism is a philosophical and ethical stance that emphasizes the value and agency of human beings, individually and collectively, and affirms their ability to improve their lives through the use of reason and ingenuity as opposed to submitting blindly to tradition and authority or sinking into cruelty and brutality.

Could you please explain to me what is so bad about humanism?

Secondly, schools don't promote a philosophy. THey simply teach the various bits of knowledge we've manage to accumulate over the past few thousand years. This will include things you agree with and things you do not agree with.

Lastly, it is laughable you think Marxism is the predominant philosophy taught. And to be fair, a lot of the problems we are having in our Western society is predicted by Marxism.

The reason why Capitalism is awesome is not owed to repressing opposing viewpoints. On paper, Communism is a superior form of government. It's just that in reality, due to the "Self Interest" aspect of human nature, communism doesn't work as well with humans as it does with ants.

Our schools are filled with sex education

If by "filled" with sex education you mean two 30-minute classes in the 6th grade, 8th grade, and 10th grade on sex education then yeah, schools are just overflowing with sex education. (I mean the classes are taught only once per year, so less than 0.01% of the students time is spent on sex education) Also, I know you may find looking at actual facts and data painful but I thought you should see this

I have no idea how it is even possible to vilify and indemnify and make "wrong" such honorable concepts as those above.

I have found the above one of the best brainwashing techniques employed by the Extreme right wing.

You take an honorable or good trait and you turn it negative and make it evil. I love your parenthesis next to diversity training (pro gay indoctrination). What exactly does that entail by the way? Does that entail a 10 hour marathon session of gay porn followed up by compulsory gay acts you must complete with a same sex partner they assign you from a random drawing. THAT WOULD BE PRO-GAY INDOCTRINATION. But no, that isn't what you mean. What you mean is simply being told, "Hey, gays are people to and should be treated with respect and equality under the law".

And to you, THAT is pro-gay indoctrination.

And political correctness? Is respecting other people's feelings and varying situations a bad thing? Sure, taken to an extreme I can agree with that. But basic human common sense courtesy? How is that a bad thing?

And Environmental Extremism? You mean, the environmental extremism that says burning millions of tons of coal per day and spilling billions of gallons of oil in the ocean every year isn't a good thing? You mean that extremism? The extremism that says using technology to come up with cleaner alternative energy sources is better than burning non-renewable cancer causing pollutants?

and "higher-order thinking skills" boldly claiming that, in order to become a higher order thinker

You mean, higher order thinking skills that says, "Hey, use facts and data when developing your beliefs and opinions..."

one must first believe absolutely that there are no absolutes!

Do you know why mankind spent so long in the dark ages?

If we could go back in time 50,000 years and kidnap a human being, do you know that mentally that human being would be no different from you or I?

So why did it take so long for us to develop technology, etc?

Because for the most part, we did not challenge any beliefs. We had no scientific method. Opening and expanding ones mind involves challenging your beliefs about everything. If what you believe is true, then it will survive the challenge. I am Christian not because my parents shielded me from all other viewpoints. No, I'm Christian because i saw everything out there in the world and then still choose to be Christian.

Your mindset is just so ignorant, and I don't mean that as an insult. I'm speaking literally. You simply just don't have any knowledge on this subject and you don't know what you are talking about.

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes I heard from a wise old man making fun of someone who wouldn't listen. He said parodying the other man, "I know what I know and don't confuse me with that facts!"

"Social justice" was coined by a Catholic.

*tedious Gish Gallop of quotes from leftist educators*

Are there no right-wing educators? If I cherry pick a dozen notable ones, does that mean education is really a right-wing plot?

I doubt it would ever be as simple as that, but Gollancz evidently didn't factor in many Christians' stupendous levels of hypocrisy and willingness to cherry-pick their own texts.

I agree. School was a joke. There's a reason why they took prayer out of the schools. They teach everything intellectual but God is taken out of the picture. Funny how something that was told to be put first, is not even put last in schools, but not put at all. No wonder why so many people come out of there confused. I mean...I know I did. Didn't help that I grew up with a personality disorder because of a ruined childhood. Fragmented upbringing=fragmented grown up. So I didn't have faith in the curriculum. So how could I have possibly had faith in God, who at the time, I didn't even think about? My bitterness towards authority as a teenager caused me to rebel against my parents, AND God. I got into all types of new age thought ideas that I learned later down the road were ultimately false teachings of Satan. But the school never addressed this to me. All they saw was an apathetic student who didn't stand for the pledge or participate. But they never mentioned salvation through Jesus Christ. Not once. But they were quick to say that I was just simply "not participating" while yet, promoting the idea that you could just believe in anything! Yep, that's the catalyst for destruction for sure. School is definitely the wide road that leads to destruction. Not to say that you can't use it to find a career for income or for Fiat notes. All I'm saying is, if your looking for your soul, school won't help you. All it did for me was worsen my depression and fragmented soul.

As i understand sex ed was added to the curriculum in the 50s because they weren't learning it at home.
The opening scene in the movie Carrie where she gets her menstrual and does not have a clue has a basis in reality. It was a failure of the mother, not the school. Schools bus, feed, make provisions to watch children after school for working parents. Counselors, psychologists; If this poster thinks it is all so bad they can always volunteer at their public school and be part of the solution as opposed to another outside barker. Get yer behind in there and do some one on one with a student who needs your help. There is boys scouts girls scouts, sports all the time. Currently baseball. Advanced education where student can graduate with up to two years college completed. Know how much money and time that saves students in tuition costs alone?
