CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i love to write, do not much and spend time with family!!
i love the sahara, definitely want to visit it one day. in fact, i love all deserts. i think we are all called to the desert in a different way, for me the hook is in Hosea 2:14-15. The call of God alluring His people into the desert. When I first read that, I could really relate to it, sometimes God strips us back to our meagre beginnings so that when we reach the end of ourselves, we seek Him out.
so i go by saharagirl because i love the desert, i love the promise He has to meet me there!

I'd love to visit Australia someday! Not sure if I'd wanna live there though. It's your backwards seasons. Hot in January and cold in July? I think it'd drive me nuts!
