The GOP is a mess. More and more women, youth, urban voters, and even traditional conservatives and neoconservatives are moving towards the libertarian party. We are the fastest growing party! Wooo hooo! Personally, I'm a 20-year-old white female and definitely not a democrat, although, I am more concerned for the social justice-type issues compared to some of my libertarian friends. Once more people get to know the LP, it will pick up steam. I mean it's the perfect combination -- we're more liberal than some democrats, yet more fiscally conservative than the republicans. Gary Johnson won reelection as gov. of New Mexico (a place that votes 2-1 democrat.) He got that 1.2% through utilizing social media and only private donations. That's still pretty incredible! Some of us want him to run again while others have high hopes for libertarian-minded republicans (like Rand Paul) getting the GOP nomination. Something deep down inside of me says he won't get it, but I'm still  he does. :)
