Why Is Trump Finally Admitting He Lost the 2020 Election?

In the past few days, we’ve seen something of a seismic shift in the rhetoric of former President Donald Trump: He has admitted on three separate occasions to losing the 2020 election. The very same race Trump’s been committed to baselessly claiming for years he actually won.

The latest instance of Trump’s brief encounter with reality came in an interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, who asked a rather anodyne question: “How do you think you’ll do in the debate coming up?”

It may have something to do with the upcoming debate and being honest with the general voting public. If the question is asked about Trump losing the election in 2020, he can now say I admitted I lost, appearing to be honest and able to handle the truth.

Be good for his soul if he trends towards truth for the rest of his life.

Because the 22nd Amendment clearly states “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and if he maintains that he was “elected twice” than he’d nullify his own candidacy.

He lost because the Democrats cheated. We know they cheated because of the many investigations that have gone on for years. Why years? Because Democrats circled the wagons, dragged their feet and made every little thing as difficult as possible.

But the courts tossed out everything? Sigh. Really. They investigated nothing. It was all about lack of standing. But there was no evidence. More sighing. One starts with allegations, and these lead to investigations. Finally, the evidence comes if it exists. But the investigations take years when one party drags its feet over every little thing.

Now everything has been fixed, right? No. Almost nothing has been fixed thanks to the Democrat party. I think there is an excellent chance that the US will never see another Republican president ever again.

Maybe this is correct but flip flopping is what today's political candidates do.

So did he lose or did he win? What's the narrative here? Is it just whatever is convenient at any given moment?

Yes, really Matt5.
For most of our country's history, Americans accept the court's decision. Until 2020 apparently, because.....reasons.

Isn’t it amazing that in response to Kamala changing her positions we hear how important it is for a leader to be flexible and be able to change their minds.
Not so much with Trump

isn't it amazing that one would compare accepting the results of election with a candidate's policy position.......

So it would be better if he continued to refuse to accept the results?

I'm still waiting for Donald J Trump to publicly and formally concede he lost the race.

In 2000, Al Gore lost a race far more closer than the 2020 race. Yet, despite the USSC shutting down the Florida recount, he conceded:

Gore gave up and threw in the towel as easily as Joe Biden did.

I believe it was Theodore Roosevelt who once said of a politician, "He had the backbone of a chocolate éclair".

It's not unusual for a man with a backbone to put up a fight if he feels he's been cheated. Liberals seem to want men to be as milquetoast as possible. To the point where boys are being encouraged to act like little girls. They're even giving them tampons now.

Then I would say that man is a SORE loser.
