Why is speaking Gods truth wrong

Don't want to stir the pot, but it's a sad day when convicted bible believing brothers and sisters are banned for honest comments.

Not because they are trying purposely to be disruptive or divisive. Only because they are speaking about what they believe is truth.

That a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Can't conservative Christians speak out about this in the CC forum?

Well I just registered here recently, but I would think that, as Conservative Christians, we should speak what we believe to be true in a way that doesn't offend others. If Liberal and Moderate Christians can share their beliefs without being offensive, then so can we.

Of course I do not yet know of any specific situations, having just arrived here, but in most of my religion forum experiences, Conservative Christians are banned because some of can get very militant with our beliefs.

I've heard some say "We have to offend people sometimes to bring them the truth!".
My answer would be that is sometimes true, but if you cannot share the truth without offending people, you do not belong in a forum where that is against the rules.

I hope I was somewhere on target with what you're talking about.

it's gone now just so you know (I know that because I'm the person who reported the scientology ads)

not sure how all the ads get here - I understand some of them have to do with conversations in certain threads (the whole cookie thing)

That said - if you see a questionable ad pm the link of the ad directly to LeeD (the owner). If you're not comfortable doing that - pm the link to one of the mods from the area and they'll pm Lee for you.

Don't start a thread about the ad - there's some sort of rule in the agreement with google (they're google ads) that they can't be discussed in open forums.

Who is being banned for speaking truth? No one that I know of.

When people are banned, it's not for making "honest" comments. We can talk about anything without getting heated, insulting people, belittling them or harassing them. THAT is why people get banned, from any site, not just here.

As for the ads, they are generated by what particular subject is being talked about. On another site that I am a member of, there is considerable debate on homosexuality. Therefore, those that aren't site supporters may see ads that are homosexual in nature. They do the same thing there, we email the links of the ads to the techies and they do something to block the ad.

I am a site supporter, so I don't see ads anyway, but I have heard that ad blocker for Firefox works quite well.

Nothing wrong speaking truth however speaking truth with a wrong attitude is wrong. To me diplomacy in this world is being graceful towards others regardless how I think of them or how I feel about them. Learning to love and accept others is an important part discipleship. I have learned that as a Christian, I must decide whether I will put my emphasis on what is important in God's will more than my will. The Holy Spirit have taught me to be humble in situations and be fruitful in bearing one another with love.

I have been thinking and reminding myself that I should be aware that my practice as a Christian is to understand where God will meet me which is in the core and that is in my heart. I have learned to stay away from such environment.

That's right preachers wife. However when people are pushing something that is pure deception and those that are being led by the spirit know it is false it becomes difficult to keep the fire that burns for our Lord down to the point that there is no bold talk for Him. I came from two other sites where there is a subversive group that twist the scriptures taken out of context for the express purpose of purporting a lie about God/Jesus or anything Christian in this world. I was not here when these supposed bannings occurred so I don't know just what happened here. All I am saying is that in the face of battle it is hard for many to stay calm especially if a revelation of truth has come the them from the Lord.

I hope I was clear about that as it is hard to put into words.
