Why is Satan role bigger in the N.T than the O.T?

Would it be because the Israelites hadn't developed the way they view God and the angelical beings? What do you think?

God wrote the OT. You make it sound like the Jews were writing it and said less about Satan because they hadn't developed enough of a view yet.

God didn't write a Bible, he inspired it.

Same thing.

Satan front and center at the Fall in Genesis 3.

Then in Job.

In the NT at the temptation of Christ (Matthew 4), mentioned in Jesus's ministry, mentioned in the epistles and Revelation.

I would gather the reason there is more mention in the NT is because Jesus spoke of Satan and confronted Satan.

In OT times, people were not indwelt by God. In NT times, he set his followers over Satan.

He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. (1 John 3:8, 1984 NIV)

None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (1 Corinthians 2:8, 1984 NIV)

Satan was still involved. He was the one who accused Job and tempted David to make a census.

In the OT it seemed to be blind faith following numerous rules.
In the NT is we learn of God and learn of his enemy.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

I think this suited the growing emphasis in Greek culture of intellectual thought. So if the Church was going to expand to the gentiles, it needed a convincing argument different than the Jews just being God's chosen nation.

Inspiration is different from authorship. Believing the Bible is inspired doesn't commit a person to believing the Bible was written down with some kind of automatic writing in a trance.

No, it is not. No writers of scripture invented what they wrote about. All of it came from God. No one created what they wrote about.
