Again your point is not correct. If my tax money goes to it and I have the right to influence via letters to my representatives and voting on it, then yes my opininon matters. It matters much more than yours on where my tax money goes.
When you become an American, then by all means stand on your soap box in the middle of DC and spout all the socialist ideaology you want. Until then, I and many other American citizens don't care.

Careful with the generalisations. Many American's do give a damn how they affect the world, in fact probably most. Unfortunately some see themselves as the world police who should act as they see fit without concern for the opinions of the rest of the world, however.and thats the difference! other 1st world countries DO care how they affect the world. McCain wants to keep the Free Trade agreements with Mexico and Canada, eroding the middle classes ability to have good paying blue collar work.
Obama wants a para-military civilian force that is equally funded as the military to help fight the war on terror on American Soil.
Both have ideas that undermine the civil liberties of the common American and North American (except Mexico), and therefore they are just as bad and the other!
