Are you at liberty to speculate why God doesn't hold himself to the same moral standard as man? If not, why? If so, then please speculate.Because we are not privy to the mind of God, except insofar as he chooses to make it known to us.

In other words, you are at liberty to speculate, but you don't wish to do so. Why would you not want to speculate why God doesn't hold himself to the same moral standard as man? Do you fear that doing so would be blasphemous?Because God is God and man is man. It is futile to try and put on the same plain the creator of the universe, and this creature who inhabits a speck of dust in some far flung corner of the universe. Are you at liberty to speculate why God doesn't hold himself to the same moral standard as man? Well, I'm a curious person of the secular world. And I'd like for you - a Christian - to speculate why God doesn't hold himself to the same moral standard as man.Like I said, I am not privy to the mind of God. There are more fruitful ways of spending my time than speculating about something which can't be known.

This raises an altogether different question. Obviously you don't wish to speculate as to why God does things the way he does. Why do you not wish to speculate on God's reasons for doing or not doing things? And I would like for you to write a cheque, which would empty your bank account, and send it to me asap. Will you do it please?

If you were standing on a bluff 200 feet above the ocean, you knew a tsunami was coming in and saw some people on the beach, it would be your moral obligation to alert those people below that a tsunami was on it's way and would kill them if they didn't get to higher ground.Think about it! If he did tell them, do you think they'd react the way you expect? If I told you your house would burn down in 3 days, would you evacuate your family and priceless possessions to the nearest hotel? Or would you give me some form of curse word and ignore my warning? Plus, if they could hear him, what could they do? Ask for help? Do you think America, Europe, etc, help out Haiti simply because they say God told them they'd be hit by an earthquake? Those freethinking countries that, especially America, push G-d out of everyday life as much as they can, would use science to say, "how can they know when am earthquake will hit IMF even we scientists can't?" and then they'd get hit. Us Christians have this idea known also to atheists and other believers as NATURAL disasters. This means that some events are NATURAL to happen. G-d does not make it happen, but the earth's cycles that cause an earthquake... Nit to say G-d can't throw an earthquake here or there, just saying that not EVERY earthquake, hurricane, or tornado is of G-d's doing. Just because we can't predict it doesn't mean G-d did it, it simply means we can't track them ahead of time, except for hurricanes.
I ask kindly - please speculate why God does things as he does. If I asked you to speculate why the weather acts as it does, you wouldn't be doubting the weather.Short answer: Because we trust him.
It's not our place to know God's reasons. God is not our President he is our King. Our role is as his faithful subjects, not his fellow Americans. Demanding us to speculate on his reasons is like telling us to doubt our God. If we only obeyed God because we knew exactly why he did things, it wouldn't be obedience. We'd just be agreeing with him.
God gives us enough information to trust him, to persist on knowing his reasons is to go beyond curiosity, into doubt and uncertainty.
