Why I am not leaving.

I logged on earlier today intending to say goodbye.
But - before I had finished typing a post telling you why, I recieved a PM from someone I hardly know. She thanked me for praying for her, then said:

PLS CONTINUE TO SHINE FOR JESUS SO OTHER CAN ALSO KNOW HIM.

And that's why we're here! Because God has been so good to us, because He loves us, and because there are still people here who need to hear and see that! And if we all leave the enemy has won.
Not critisising anyone's decision to go, because He has different paths for us all.
But - I'm afraid you're stuck with me for now!

I posted this a while back to express my reason why I was staying in this website. This reason still holds true and as long as the Lord wants me here I will obey.

"You know guys, I have been giving this a lot of thought and have come to a conclusion. As long as we are here so will Jesus. Erwin can change whatever he wants but he has nothing on Jesus our Lord.

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.


The light shines in the darkness, that is us guys. We are the light.!! We shine in the dark days and we will bring light to his site. I say we rejoice in the gift that we can still fellowship together and have the opportunity to spread the gospel. Praise God!!!"

May God continue to bless us and this forum.

God's Word never returns void. I received a PM once from an atheist who thanked me for bringing him one step closer to believing in God. He linked me to the post, and it was something that I had posted 18 months previously.

So, we never know how we are impacting people here. We do not know how God is using us as vessels of honor.

I am so glad that the Lord gave you such a clear sign of how dear you are to all of us here and what a blessing you are.

What an encouraging thread!

I think we've all thought about leaving, especially in the last 6 months. What you guys have said here, is so true! We never know who we are going to impact by our presence. Satan would love it if we gave over control of this site to him and his minions. (if you don't think he's at work here open your eyes!) Some say that this is just a website and it doesnt matter. I would argue with that as I've heard many testify otherwise.

Good I am glad because if you had gone too I would have rally been heartbroken. Who would have been here to take care of me? You always know when I am not feeling like myself somehow.
