In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Israel's past, present, and future have been declared by God over two thousand years ago in the Bible, to prove to the nations that Jesus is the creator of heaven and earth and the one and only Savior for Israel and sinful mankind. (John 1:1-3, 1:14, 14:6).
Ezekiel 36:23-24 And I (God) will vindicate (establish) the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you (Israel) have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Lord GOD, when through you (Israel) I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. (24) I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.
Therefore, to understand what the future holds for Israel and the rest of humanity, let's examine a few scriptures regarding God's sovereign plan for his chosen people that began with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Genesis 12:1-3 Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. (2) And I will make of you a great nation (called Israel), and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. (3) I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you (and Israel) I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed (through faith in Jesus as their risen Savior)."

In 2066 BC, at the age of 100, Abraham fathered Isaac by faith in God. And Isaac fathered Jacob, who then became the father of 12 sons who represent the 12 tribes of Israel today. God also told Abraham that his descendants would become servants and be afflicted for a period of 400 years (Genesis 15:13). And this period of servitude for Israel was completed in 1446 BC when they were set free from slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt by God's servant Moses.

In 1406 BC, just before Joshua led Israel into the promised land, God warned his people not to worship idols and refrain from doing evil so they would not be cast out of their land and scattered among the nations.

"When you father children and children's children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God..... you will soon utterly perish from the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess. You will not live long in it, but will be utterly destroyed. (27) And the LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the LORD will drive you....But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. (30) When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the LORD your God and obey his voice. (31) For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them, Deuteronomy 4:25-31.

This prophecy was fulfilled when the self-righteous leaders of Israel crucified Jesus who was their Messiah, John 19:1-42. And as a result Israel was cast out of their land and into the nations of the world for over 1800 years. However God said that he will gather his people from the nations and bring them back to their land in the latter days. (Isaiah 11:11-12)

Ezekiel 11:16-20 Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary to them for a while in the countries where they have gone.' (17) Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.' (18) And when they come there, they will remove from it all its detestable things and all its abominations. (19) And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, (20) that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. (Amos 9:11-15)

After being scattered throughout the world for centuries, Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948. And since then millions of Jews have returned to their land that God promised to Abraham and his descendants, which is a fulfillment of several prophecies that were proclaimed by God over 2500 years ago.

Isaiah 66:8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children.
Amos 9:14-15 I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. (15) I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them," says the LORD your God.

In Matthew 24:15-35, Jesus said the generation that sees the fig-tree Israel blossom into a nation (in 1948), will not pass away before God's 7 year tribulation judgment of wicked mankind is fulfilled.

Mat 24:32-34 "From the fig tree (Israel, Hosea 9:10) learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves (when Israel becomes a nation in 1948), you know that summer is near (the 7 year tribulation, Dan 2:34-35). (33) So also, when you see all these things, you know that he (Jesus) is near, at the very gates. (34) Truly, I say to you, this generation (of 1948) will not pass away until all these things take place.

In the last year of the tribulation, Jesus will return to defeat the Antichrist and all the nations that have come against Jerusalem, when a believing remnant of Israel will call upon the name of the Lord and be saved from their enemies. (Luke 13:34-35, Rev 19:11-21)

Zechariah 12:9-10 And on that day (in the tribulation) I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (10) "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced (on the cross), they shall mourn....as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.
Zechariah 13:8-9 In the whole land, declares the LORD, two thirds (of Israel) shall be cut off and perish (in the tribulation), and one third shall be left alive. (9) And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'They are my people'; and they will say, 'The LORD is my God.'"

As the years of the tribulation are drawing near, the hatred for the nation of Israel and the persecution of Jews throughout the world will be increasing, which is an end-time Biblical sign that's being fulfilled in this present day.

In the scriptures, there are several prophetic stories that reveal a 2,000-year gospel age will take place after Jesus' resurrection (in approximately 30 to 33 AD) that will be completed just before the 7-year tribulation begins. Therefore, it strongly appears the tribulation could begin around 2030 to 2033 and will end 7 years later in the 2037 to 2040 time frame, when unrighteous mankind will have one last opportunity to believe in Christ's sacrifice for their sins on the cross and be saved from an eternity in hell. (Rev 14:9-11)

Revelation 14:6-7 Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. (7) And he said with a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his (tribulation) judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water."

Mark 13:19-20 For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be. (20) And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days.
Since the end-time signs are revealing the tribulation is near, I find it interesting that for decades the rich and powerful technocrats have progressively planned and forced upon the nations their tyrannical New World Order with a satanic Central Bank Digital Currency through their deceptive Trojan horse called The Great Reset and Agenda 2030. Which is another confirming sign for the coming tribulation when all mankind will have to decide whether to take the Mark of the Beast and become a slave of the Antichrist to buy and sell, or accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior when they will be persecuted and martyred for their faith in God. (Rev 6:9-11, 13:15-18, 20:4)

Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision (in the tribulation)! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

ag7.png
Rev 14:9-12 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, (10) he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. (11) And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name." (12) Here is a call for the (patient) endurance of the (tribulation) saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

There are numerous prophecies that have been fulfilled by Israel over the past 3500 years, which is undeniable proof that God has established his holy name through his chosen people. And yet rebellious mankind rejects and scoffs at the truth of God's Word, which is unique and superior to all the religions of the world due to the fact that the Bible has over 2,000 interrelated prophecies written by 40 different authors over a period of 1500 years that have been 100% accurate in foretelling the future of Israel and mankind.

2 Peter 3:3-4 Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. (4) They will say, "Where is the promise of his coming?

Isaiah 46:8-10 "Remember this and stand firm, recall it to mind, you transgressors, (9) remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other;....(10) declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,'
God has accurately declared Israel's past, present, and future in his prophetic Word, which is divine evidence that proves Jesus is Lord and Savior for all who will put their trust in Christ's death on the cross for their sins and his resurrection after three days.

Isaiah 46:12-13 "Listen to me, you stubborn of heart, you who are far from righteousness: (13) I bring near my righteousness; it is not far off, and my salvation will not delay; I will put salvation in Zion (Jerusalem, Isa 40:9), for Israel my glory."

The Good News of Jesus Salvation
  • Romans 3:10 as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one;
  • Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
  • Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, (4) that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
  • Romans 10:9-11 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (10) For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. (11) For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame."
  • John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (17) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (18) Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
  • Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, (9) not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
  • Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
  • John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
The following prophecies in Isaiah 53 and Psalms 22 describe God's wrath for our sins that Jesus received when he endured the cross and died as our sacrificial Passover Lamb. At the exact time when the Passover lambs were being sacrificed for the sins of Israel, who are symbolic for Jesus' righteous blood that was shed to atone for our iniquity. (Exo 12:21-23, Lev 17:11, Mat 26:26-28, Heb 9:22-28)

The LORD has laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all
Isaiah 53:4-7 (written in 711 BC) Surely he (Jesus) has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. (5) But he was pierced for our transgressions (on the cross in 30 to 33 AD); he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. (6) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned--every one--to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (7) He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter (on Passover), and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.
Isaiah 53:10-12 Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for (our) guilt, he shall see his offspring (of saints); he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. (11) Out of the anguish of his soul (on the cross) he shall see (the light of life) and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant (Jesus), make many to be accounted righteous (by faith), and he shall bear their iniquities. (12) Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.

They have pierced my hands and feet (John 20:19-29)
Psalms 22:14-18 (written in 1044 BC) I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax; it is melted within my breast; (15) my strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to my jaws; you lay me in the dust of death. (16) For dogs encompass me; a company of evildoers encircles me; they have pierced my hands and feet-- (17) I can count all my bones-- they stare and gloat over me; (18) they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.
  • John 19:23-24 When the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took his garments and divided them into four parts, one part for each soldier; also his tunic. But the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom, (24) so they said to one another, "Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it to see whose it shall be." This was to fulfill the Scripture which says, "They divided my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots." So the soldiers did these things,
The crucifixion of Jesus that was followed by his resurrection after 3 days fulfilled several important prophecies regarding God's gift of salvation for sinful mankind through faith in Christ: Isa 53:1-8, Psalms 16:10, Mat 12:40, Mark 10:33-34, Acts 2:22-38, 13:26-41.

John 19:1-3 Then Pilate took Jesus and flogged him. (2) And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head and arrayed him in a purple robe. (3) They came up to him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" and struck him with their hands.
John 19:4-7 Pilate went out again and said to them, "See, I am bringing him out to you that you may know that I find no guilt in him." (5) So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, "Behold the man!" (6) When the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out, "Crucify him, crucify him!" Pilate said to them, "Take him yourselves and crucify him, for I find no guilt in him." (7) The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and according to that law he ought to die because he has made himself the Son of God."
John 19:16-19 So he (Pilate) delivered him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, (17) and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. (18) There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them. (19) Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews."
  • John 15:12-13 (Jesus said to his disciples) "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. (13) Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Because Jesus loved us, he laid down his life to be crucified on the cross when he shed his blood for our sins that are like scarlet, so we can be forgiven by faith and clothed in the righteousness of Christ, represented by the spotless wool of God's heavenly Lamb that's white as snow. (John 3:16, Isa 61:10, Gal 3:26-27, 1 Peter 1:18-19)

j101.png

John 10:14-15 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, (15) just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

2 Cor 5:21 For our sake he (God the Father) made him (Jesus) to be sin (for us on the cross) who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
John 1:29 The next day he (John the Baptist) saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God (from heaven), who takes away the sin of the world!
Psalms 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me (of my sins), and I shall be whiter than snow.
Isaiah 1:18-20 (written in 739 BC) "Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool (of God's righteous Lamb). (19) If you are willing and obedient (by trusting in Christ's sacrifice for your sins), you shall eat the good of the land; (20) but if you refuse and rebel (in sinful unbelief), you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

When Jesus returns at the end of the tribulation with his army of saints, he will judge rebellious, unbelieving mankind with the sword of his mouth, which is the Word of God.

Hebrews 4:12a For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword...

Rev 19:11-15 (written by the Apostle John in 95 AD) Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he (Jesus) judges and makes war...... (13) He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. (14) And the armies of (saints in) heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. (15) From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

Rev 19:19-21 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him (Jesus) who was sitting on the horse and against his army (of saints). (20) And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. (21) And the rest (of sinful mankind) were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.
Isaiah (written in 725 BC) 13:6-9 Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; as destruction from the Almighty it will come (in the tribulation)! (7) Therefore all hands will be feeble, and every human heart will melt. (8) They will be dismayed: pangs and agony will seize them; they will be in anguish like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at one another; their faces will be aflame. (9) Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger, to make the land a desolation and to destroy its sinners from it (who do not believe in Jesus).

There are hundreds of prophecies in the Bible that have been fulfilled during the past 3500 years, which have revealed God's sovereign plan of salvation for sinful mankind through faith in Jesus that began with Abraham and his descendants, Israel. Therefore, as it is said, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your heart" (with unbelief in Jesus as your Lord and risen Savior, Hebrews 3:15, 3:14-19).

John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. (28) I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

Israel's past, present, and future have been declared by God to prove that he is the creator of heaven and earth and all mankind, John 1:1-3.
Ezekiel 36:23 And I (God) will vindicate (establish) the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you (Israel) have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Lord GOD, when through you (Israel) I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.
Therefore, to understand what the future holds for Israel and the rest of humanity, let's examine a few scriptures regarding God's sovereign plan for his chosen people Israel, that began with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Genesis 12:1-3 Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. (2) And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. (3) I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

This prophecy was fulfilled when the self-righteous leaders of Israel crucified Jesus who was their Messiah.

And since then millions of Jews have returned to their land that God promised to Abraham and his descendants.

Isaiah 66:8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children.

In Matthew 24:15-35, Jesus said the generation that sees the fig-tree Israel blossom into a nation (in 1948), will not pass away before God's 7 year tribulation judgment of wicked mankind is fulfilled.

Matthew 24:32-34 "From the fig tree (Israel, Hosea 9:10) learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves (when Israel becomes a nation in 1948), you know that summer (the 7 years of tribulation) is near. (33) So also, when you see all these things, you know that he (Jesus) is near, at the very gates. (34) Truly, I say to you, this generation (of 1948) will not pass away until all these things take place.

In the last year of the tribulation, Jesus will return to defeat the Antichrist and all the nations that have come against Jerusalem, when a believing remnant of Israel will be saved from their enemies. (Zec 14:1-9, Rev 19:11-21)

As the years of the tribulation are drawing near, the hatred for the nation of Israel and the persecution of Jews throughout the world will be increasing, which is an end-time Biblical sign that's being fulfilled in this present day.

The scriptures also reveal that a 2,000 year gospel age which began from Jesus resurrection in approximately 30 to 33 AD will be followed by 7 years of tribulation judgment for wicked mankind, which could begin around 2030 to 2033 and will end in the 2037 to 2040 time-frame, when unrighteous mankind will have one last opportunity to believe in Christ's sacrifice for their sins on the cross and be saved from an eternity in hell. (Revelation 14:9-11)

Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

Mark 13:19-20 For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be. (20) And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days.
The Good News of Jesus Salvation
  • Romans 3:10 as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one;
(18) Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in....the only Son of God.
There are numerous prophecies that have been fulfilled by Israel over the past 3500 years, which is undeniable proof that God has established his holy name. And yet rebellious mankind chooses to reject and scoff at the truth of God's proven Word, which is unique and superior to all the religions of the world due to the fact that the Bible has over 2,000 interrelated prophecies written by 40 different authors over a period of 1500 years that have been 100% accurate in foretelling the future of Israel and mankind.

2 Peter 3:3-4 Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. (4) They will say, "Where is the promise of his coming?

2 Peter 1:20-21 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. (21) For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

God has declared Israel's past, present, and future to prove that Jesus is the one and only Savior for those who will put their trust in Christ's death on the cross for their sins and his resurrection after three days.

Isaiah 1:18-20 "Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. (19) If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; (20) but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king (Jesus) is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Hebrews 4:7b "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."

Speaking of the tribulation.
Who do you believe will be beating Jesus followers in the synagogues in the land of Israel?

Luke 21
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

Mark 13
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

Mathew 10
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

Christians in Israel have been harassed and spit on by radical Jews during the last several years.

Christians in the Holy Land say they’re under attack as Israeli-Palestinian violence soars

Jerusalem Christians say attacks on the rise

As attacks on Christians become more frequent, a crisis looms for Israel

Anti-Christian incidents are on the rise in Jerusalem’s Old City

Speaking of the tribulation,

So you understand radical Jews who have taken over the Israeli government are the ones who place Jesus followers in prison till the time of the end then?

Daniel 11:33-35
Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed.
During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.
And some of the wise will fall victim to persecution. In this way, they will be refined and cleansed and made pure until the time of the end, for the appointed time is still to come.
