Innocence is violated. Tragic abuse and misuse. Stolen hope. Cruel, thoughtless words spoken. Wounds that don't heal. Ridicule instead of reassurance. Hands that slap instead of arms that embrace. No one sees. No one cares.
Why GOD?
The oceans could not hold the tears GOD has shed
It was for these little ones that GOD's Son bled
The way was made to escape from sin
But cold and hard is the heart of men
GOD, why is it that You don't stop the insanity
End the perversion, violence and profanity
Why do so many suffer for so long
Why do the godless seem so strong
When Pilate asked who they wanted released
At this moment the voice of disciples ceased
When godly people remain quiet
Wrong will seize victory over right
When our light is covered who can see
The way out of darkness into liberty
When we protect 99 and give up one
How can we question what GOD hasn't done
Forgive me Lord for playing the game
Ignoring others as I praise Your name
Forgive me Lord for not hearing their cries
For being so busy with all my whys
Forgive me Lord for not watching one hour
For being content to do this in my power
Lord please help me now to find the lost
Whatever the price whatever the cost
