Why do people keep comparing sexual deviation to a person's
skin color? I mean, I know WHY they do it, but it is as invalid an
argument as it gets imo. It's pretty low too, to try to use that tactic,
but I guess anyone who is desperate enough grasping for straws to justify
sin will sink to any level.
Why do people keep comparing sexual deviation to a person's skin color?
That is an interesting point of view.
I believe that homosexuality is an objective moral disorder so I could never see an ethical order within that community.
Sexual orientation is a characteristic of humans, like sex (male or female) or skin color or height or left or right-handedness. That's all it is: a characteristic. It's neutral, the same as other characteristics. It's not a sin, not a disease. Just a characteristic. That some people do not like the characteristic of being gay or bisexual is not a problem with gay or bisexual people. If you don't like same-sex marriages, then don't marry someone of the same sex. Problem solved for you.Why do people keep comparing sexual deviation to a person's

so why do we then not outlaw divorce? why do we not outlaw the belief in other gods? it is because we are a secular state, where freedom of religion is held strongly.Jesus gives his teaching on divorce very clearly in the New Testament.
We know that govenment allows divorce for reasons that go against what Jesus himself teaches. For instance, California has marriage dissolution, etc. .
Now, as Christians do we take it upon ourselves to see divorce outside of Our Saviors teachings to be valid ?
Why, of course not.
So, why do some here promote that gay marriage be valid because of a government decree ?
