I believe that Isaac Newton was closest... And to fully quote the guy...

“And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half.” –Daniel 12:7

From a folio cataloged as Yahuda MS 7.3g, f. 13v:

"So then the time times & half a time are 42 months or 1260 days or three years & an half, reckoning twelve months to a year & 30 days to a month as was done in the Calendar of the primitive year. And the days of short lived Beasts being put for the years of lived kingdoms, the period of 1260 days, if dated from the complete conquest of the three kings A.C. 800, will end A.C. 2060.”" - – Isaac Newton

As Charlemagne was crowned king on December 25, 800 by Pope Leo the III so the day of Christ's coming will be on Christmas Day, 2060. If the rapture of the saints (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) occurs seven years before the time of Christ’s coming the date of the rapture 12.25 2053. However… Isaac Newton notes…

“"It may end later, but I see no reason for its ending sooner. This I mention not to assert when the time of the end shall be, but to put a stop to the rash conjectures of fancifull men who are frequently predicting the time of the end, & by doing so bring the sacred prophesies into discredit as often as their predictions fail. Christ comes as a thief in the night, & it is not for us to know the times & seasons which God hath put into his own breast." –- Isaac Newton

Deceiving myself, brother I think you are the one who is confused. You are taking scriptures and plucking them out of context. Frankly if you do not understand the believer is the temple then...well I guess we are done discussing this.

You were provided full Scriptural support verifying the building of two more stone building temples, in posts 27 and 35, you are in denial of with the claim it is out of context. Supposing you show me how it is out of context.

The opinions you express are worthless without proper Scriptural verification. Do you think the temples Solomon and Zerubbabel built, that were destroyed respectively in 586 B.C. and 70 A.D. were also spiritual temples? The tribulation temple and Millennial temles will be in the very same order, built in the very same place, in Jerusalem, Israel.

And where, may I ask, did you obtain your qualifications to teach the Bible?

I haven't seen (unless I missed it) one word regarding the fact that the Old Covenant is over and the Jews are not the chosen people of God anymore. No one has spoken about Matthew 21: 33-46 in which Jesus showed that national Israel would be tossed out of their position of being the husbandmen of the vineyard and replaced with a "new nation" which is the Church of the New Covenant.

Perhaps those who are looking for the rebuilding of the Temple have missed something.

I have explained to you several times before, the New Covenant of Grace was activated when Jesus shed His blood and died o a cross. That whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. When God opened it up to the Gentiles, Jesus commissioned Saul/Paul to be His apostle to preach to them.

Beginning at Pentecost, the Church age began and has had growt5h in its numbers ever since.

Meanwhile, Israel rejected the New Covenant of Grace, brought in by Jesus, by rejecting Him as their Messiah, As a result, their temple and Jerusalem were destroyed and they were sent into a 1,778 year diaspora, scattered throughout the world, until the nation o Israel was reestablished on May 14, 1948.

However, they are still non-believers of Jesus as their Messiah, and as such, reject the New Covenant of Grace, and will go through the seven year tribulation because of it. When Jesus returns in His Second Coming, Israel will finally recognize Jesus as their messiah and the New Covenant of Grace, as recorded in Zech.12:10 and 14:4-5.

The problem you have with this, is your attempt to make the Church, Israelm which is a non \-Scriptural heresy.

No, that is not what we find on the Day of Pentecost.

In Acts 2:36 Peter addresses the crowd as "all the house of Israel". On that day about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled at Calvary.
When the Church first began almost all of its members were Israelites.
The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later.
The Church as a whole has never been a "Gentile Church".

In Romans chapter 11, part of the Israelites accepted Christ as the Messiah and part did not, as found in Romans 11:1-5.

You are denying that any Israelites accepted the New Covenant, to make your Two Peoples of God doctrine work.
Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 12:22-24 shows your doctrine to be in error.

You need to understand that the number of Israelites, or Jews, who became Christians the day of Pentecost pertains to the building of the Church, and has nothing at all to do with the far greater population of non-believing Israel, who rejected Jesus as their Messiah. How long is it going to take for you to understand the di8fference between the Church and Israel?

The thought of animal sacrifices offered to God as atonement for sins is disgusting. Besides the scripture says "For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins". If Jesus' atonement is not sufficient then no animal sacrifice will do a scrap of good.

Answer the following questions:

1. Did Israel reject Jesus as their Messiah?

2. Did God send Titus and the Roman army into Israel to destroy the temple and Jerusalem?

3. Did God send Israel into a 1,778 year diaspora because o their non-belief in Jesus as their Messiah?

4. Will Israel finally recognize Jesus as their messiah in His second advent to the earth, recorded in Zech.12:10. Taking advantage of God's free gift of Grace in the New Covenant for the first time?

When you answer, YES, to all of the above, you will have the Scriptural interpretation of those facts correct. None of which has single thing to do with the Church.

The animal sacrificing will not be for the atonement of sins, in Jesus Millennial kingdom.

That's true. There will be no animal sacrifices in heaven nor in the Kingdom.

Isn't the most obvious answer to this that we don't need a temple anymore. The Christian is the temple of God. the old has been replaced by the new. The Holy Spirit resides in each believer.

That is what I was taught.
Did you know the word for Temple is not used once in Revelation, but rather Sanctuary is. Just thought that was interesting.

Genesis Chapter 1 (YLT)

Strong's Number G3485 matches the Greek ναός (naos), which occurs 46 times in 40 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV
used of the temple at Jerusalem, but only of the sacred edifice (or sanctuary) itself, consisting of the Holy place and the Holy of Holies (in classical Greek it is used of the sanctuary or cell of the temple, where the image of the god was placed which is distinguished from the whole enclosure)

John 2:20
Say then, the Judeans, "forty six years was built this Sanctuary/naoV <3485> and Thou in three days shall be rousing it?!
Young) 1 Corinthians 3:16
have ye not known that ye are a Sanctuary/naon <3485> of God, and the Spirit of God doth dwell in ye?

Young) Revelation 21:22
And a Sanctuary/naon <3485> I did not see in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, is its Sanctuary/naoV <3485> and the Lamb

They won't be, period.

According to the Bible, there will be two more temples built in Jerusalem.

The Tribulation temple

Mt.24:15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."

Dan.9:27 "He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’[h] In the middle of the ‘seven’[i] he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple[j] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

2 Thess.2:4 " He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God."

Rev.11:1 "I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months."

The Millennial temple:

12 Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the Lord. 13 It is he who will build the temple of the Lord, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he[e] will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.’

Described in Ez.40-47

Did Israel reject Jesus as their Messiah?

Act 2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
Act 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."
Act 2:40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."
Act 2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

Rom 9:6 But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel,

Rom 11:1
I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Rom 11:2 God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,
Rom 11:3 "LORD, THEY HAVE KILLED YOUR PROPHETS AND TORN DOWN YOUR ALTARS, AND I ALONE AM LEFT, AND THEY SEEK MY LIFE"?
Rom 11:4 But what does the divine response say to him? "I HAVE RESERVED FOR MYSELF SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BOWED THE KNEE TO BAAL."
Rom 11:5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.

Heb 8:8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH—

Heb 8:9 NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT THAT I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS IN THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DISREGARDED THEM, SAYS THE LORD.

Heb 8:10 FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR MIND AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

Heb 8:11 NONE OF THEM SHALL TEACH HIS NEIGHBOR, AND NONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST OF THEM TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.

Heb 8:12 FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."

Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

You do not seem to know the difference between Israel of the Promise and Israel of the Flesh in Romans 9:8.

Because the "Temple" is an abomination to Yahweh. That is why the last one was destroyed 2,000 years ago, never to be rebuilt.

I saw the AofD that maketh desolate spoken of by the prophet Daniel. It was standing where it ought not to be, standing in the holy place. It was in June, on Friday the 26th, 2015. I have a lock fit on it. There will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days until the sun is "darkened".

(HINT:Even if there were a rebuilt temple, it wouldn't be a "holy place" with a curtain torn from top to bottom.)

Take off your sandals from your feet,
for the place where you are standing is holy.”

And Joshua did so.

2 Thess.2:4 " He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God."

2 Thessalonians 2? Hello???

Paul was drawing from Daniel 8 and especially Matthew 23 where Jesus said:

The Pharisees have "seated themselves".

"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat"

"The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of Moses"

The Antichrist will "seat himself".

"so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God

"so that he sets himself up in God's temple,

"So he will seat himself in the temple of God,

Moses was the teacher of the Law, the Word of God. He was long gone when Jesus said this so the Scribes and the Pharisees had really just taken over his job or his "seat", which was Moses' place in the Temple of God.

Our end time Antichrist has thought to take over God's job, rising up to the Place of His Sanctuary, by influencing the shift in morality, seeking to change times and the Law and promoting the trend in increased lawlessness. "Anti" can also mean "in place of". And the dragon gives this thing it's power and throne and great authority.

God says: "Remember the Sabbath", "You shall not murder", "You shall not commit adultery" and "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination".

Antichrist says: forget about the Sabbath, legalize inappropriate contentography, legalize abortion, legalize same sex marriage and have a sexual revolution.

When the Man of Sin seeks to change these specific times and these particular Laws, he by default has magnified himself above all that is called God or is worshiped and has set himself up in God's "seat" of authority in God's Temple thereby claiming to BE God. This is blasphemy to God and slanders his name and his dwelling place which is in the Temple in Heaven, not a rebuilt one on earth. "Worship" comes from the word "proskuneo" and can also mean to "submit to" or "to obey".

I wouldn't be waiting for a temple to be rebuilt in Jerusalem. Or waiting to see a man of sin sitting in it.

The trampling has begun, we are the holy city, and the composite beast is watching. Try handing out a "days of Lot" pamphlet during a Sodomite parade and try not to bake em a cake. The Revelation 11 temple is not a brick and mortar building made with human hands. The Gentiles are in charge now. We are in the inner court, they the outer. At the 7th trumpet, every person on this planet will be "measured" and find a place in either one of these two "courts".

2 Thess.2:4 " He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God."
Paul is referring to a "naos" (Greek) temple, which is a spiritual temple in every instance in which Paul uses it in his epistles. He is thus identifying one who arrogates spiritual authority within the Church. History records the Roman papacy which arose out of the dissolution of the imperial Roman empire as a precise fulfillment of Paul's description.

I'm hesitant to comment on this, but for the sake of balance I will.

I used to hold to dispensationalism (premillennialism) because that's what I was raised up with. However, now I'm of the view that it's a strange mix of old Jewish ideas and modern misreadings of Scripture. Please feel free to disagree, though I don't think it's something worth spending too much energy on.

However, what I do want to say is that:
1. Our Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, and is LORD (YHWH) of all - right now.

2. The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed.

3. Scripture tells us of but one instance of Christ returning, whereby he will judge the living and the dead. It will be apparent for all to see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Besides the above, a new temple where the old Law is re-instituted goes hard against the Gospel and flies in the face of large portions of the apostolic writings. Even if the temple is entirely based on freewill offerings to God, it's missing the point and purpose of God's grace through Christ.
