  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Why doesn't Christian forums have an app?

Would be so much easier for me on the phone.
Because I have so many things in the news to share.
But going to Google is annoying.

If they have one, let me know.
Is this the right forum for this? It's not anything specifically Catholic.

Anyway, the website is usable on a phone without an app, just go into your browser and go to the website. Further, making an app would be an endeavor in and of itself, and in my experience apps for particular websites are generally just worse versions of those websites than if you just went to the website directly. I tried the Reddit app after it kept suggesting I try it when using it on my phone, and it was a decidedly worse experience than just using the website. If a company as big as Reddit's app just ends up being a worse version of the website forum, how would CF with far fewer resources manage to make one worthwhile?
