"And blessed is he who takes no offense at me.” - Jesus (Luke 7:23)Beyond the fact that most Republicans are religious zealots, Democrats and Republicans have significantly different views on how society should operate.
No, they are not obligated to obey any campaign supporters.
Where is Thomas Jefferson now? You can follow who you want, but I trust in Jesus Christ the Lord.A wise man indeed....
I could be mistaken but I believe it is illegal for them to coordinate with the PACs. PACs don't finance their campaigns. They just do favors for them (run political ads etc), and expect nothing in return later.

I'd assume the same. But I'm sure he also paid for....er, contributed to many republicans as well, since he represents their main constituency: the rich.
-- A2SG, not sure if that is the correct term, though....and by that, I mean "main"....does the GOP have any other constituents?
Your Facebook memes don't show knowledge of the Christian faith.I understand your religion, I fully respect and would die to defend your right to your faith.
That said,
I like you.. You are very entertaining.Your Facebook memes don't show knowledge of the Christian faith.
The Democrat Party is filled with reprobate minds. In fact, the party's positions on topics such as homosexuality and abortion renders it as being of the devil.
But the Democrat Party is beholden to billionaire contributors such as Tom Steyer and George Soros. Should Bernie win the Dem nomination, he'd be on the take from such backers. No they aren't obliged, but I'm sure it buys some favors. Sanders has virtually no superPAC money and Trump doesn't have much either.
No, the Democrats want food for poor children.
It is some of the very rich who are the force behind homosexuality and raising the age of consent to reduce the population explosion.
Most of the support for the Republican Party comes from people who believe, by faith, that after election the next Republican President will be financially responsible. I'm not sure that will happen. Back in the 1960s Johnson was irresponsible in every way I can think of and Richard Nixon was a big improvement, but I don't think that applies any more.

It seems you need a Congress and President of that mindset. No wars, and a growing economy. It's an important issue to me, and unfortunately the stars have not aligned for more than a few years of my entire life.
A lot of deluded people who think today's neo Republicans will turn into the traditional Republicans as soon as they get elected.
Around 1973 the traditional small government fiscally responsible Republican Party changed into what it is now, the exact opposite, as a result of the oil companies switching from the Democrats to the Republicans.
Nobody seems to have talked about the change so there are still lots of faithful Republicans who believe that when they elect a Republican he won't be like Bush but will spend their money carefully with thrift in mind, rather than starting a hugely expensive war or two.
I was thinking 'no chance' then realised it was down to the individual candidate or their SuperPAC, hence this thread.
Don't get me wrong, the Republican Party is not good either, it's just less bad. They don't support outright wicked behaviors.
