No. I can not even prove that there´s a God, in the first place. Can you prove that God has never healed an amputee?
Ever read about the plethora of lepers that Jesus restored whole? Many of these by prayer? Do you know that many lepers loose digits and limbs?
I think prayer is an exercise of trusting and getting closer to God, so we are ready for the good He will do. If we pray for a specific thing, it is good that we pray what God has us pray . . . so we are preparing to fit in with His plan.God will grant what's best for both parties. The problem is we think we know what's best and don't trust God. Having trust is more important than gaining favors.
Exercising to be stronger in trust and closer to God, so we are prepared for the good He will doWhat then would be the point of prayers?
sounds goodif you didn't get that job, or Lambo, then it probably wasn't His will or alignment for your life, and others.
Do both. Thank Him and make requests > Philippians 4:6-7. Maybe it could be like if you are invited to a family's dinner . . . you want something on the table and you know you are welcome to it, but you trust someone to pass it to you and you say thank you. With God, there are things we are welcome to; but we ask and thank. We are in family sharing with God and one another; so prayer is not only about what is for me.Why then wouldn't our prayers, simply praise God, instead of asking for favors. If prayers are about pleasing God, then why do so many ask God for things in prayers instead of simply praising him.
amenGod does answer every prayer, but keep in mind He does as He knows is right.
We need to be changed, and we pray for this.I have never understood the idea that the guy with the great masterplan will change his ways on your demand.
No, but I know I needed a personality transplant. Can you prove that God has never healed an amputee?
Well, God is not conceited. He requires us to pray and worship Him, because in His love this will have us enjoying Him in His own love. If you have someone especially good for you, you want to communicate with the person and you greatly appreciate the person. This is what prayer is, and worship > communication with God who is so good for us, so appreciated because of how He so superior takes a personal interest in each of us.Why would an all-powerful and all-knowing deity require prayer and worship?
You are talking about the kind of worship which Satan wants. And you are right > Satan is so wrong, wanting such worship, when he does no good at all to anyone, not even to his own self.A deity who is both all-knowing and all-powerful would need or require nothing, most especially something as self-centered as worship.

amenAnd He has His overall purpose of changing us to be like Jesus . . . including so we are pleasing to our Father like Jesus is > Romans 8:29 > Jesus in us (Galatians 4:19, Galatians 2:20) makes us more and more sweetly and fragrantly pleasing to our Father > 2 Corinthians 2:14-15 > 1 Peter 3:4 > so, prayer includes our seeking God's correction of His love's perfection > Hebrews 12:4-11, 1 John 4:17 > and then our prayer is sweetly pleasing, most of all about sharing with our Father and delighting Him, but while handling practical things
We need to be changed, and we pray for this.

But this is our example required of us > how God desires for us to also be unconceited and willing to share the very best with any person, at all . . . like He does with us > Romans 5:5.
You are talking about the kind of worship which Satan wants. And you are right > Satan is so wrong, wanting such worship, when he does no good at all to anyone, not even to his own self.
Jesus left Heaven itself, in order to reach us and personally share God's very own best with us. So, God is not conceited
Suppose me and my friend both prays that our son gets into college. There is only one spot left. If God grants my prayer, God cannot grant his.
Will God grant someone's prayer who is Christian over someone who is not?
Will God grant it based on the merit of how good the person is?
Or will God ignore both prayers?
What evidence do you have to show that prayer is anything more than talking to the air?
When your prayer is adjusted to God's will, He answers them instantly.
I have never understood the idea that the guy with the great masterplan will change his ways on your demand. And if assuming that - for whatever obscure reason - he really does, I am wondering how (being omnipotent and all that) he couldn´t spontaneously create an additional slot.
Why then wouldn't our prayers, simply praise God, instead of asking for favors. If prayers are about pleasing God, then why do so many ask God for things in prayers instead of simply praising him.
Again, what evidence can you bring to bear that shows prayer to be anything more than talking to the air?
What then would be the point of prayers?
They get answered instantly and dramatically. The timing is the proof.
In my experience.
That would be a 'no' then? You haven't offered any evidence. Only blind assertions.
No. I can not even prove that there´s a God, in the first place.
I would, however, suspect that a person spontaneously regrowing an amputated limb would immediately make it to the
news, in these days and ages.
I always loved the question: Why won't god heal amputees?
What? Where do you get this idea that only Jesus interacted with physical humans?
I'm not blind, nor have I asserted anything.
I was just answering your question about
how I've experienced answered prayer.
I have no evidence that I started my car
before I drove it today. But as I recall
it happened. I have confidence about it.
